IIM Bangalore is better. It has a better brand value. In terms of academics, faculty, exposure, and placements as well IIM Bangalore is better. Most MBA aspirants choose IIM Bangalore over MDI, so the peer group is better.

As per the highlights of IIM Bangalore placements, it has a better average CTC. During 2022 placements, the average CTC offered was INR 33.82 LPA.

IIM Bangalore and MDI Gurgaon both are highly reputed institutions. But if we compare the two, the former is definitely better. Also, it is the safest option to go for, out of almost every other B-school in the country.

The brand value of IIM Bangalore is higher.
It has an upper hand in the case of peer groups as students choose IIM Bangalore over MDI Gurgaon.
Along with IIM A and IIM C, B has one of the best faculties and provides a lot of exposure. So, upper hand here too.
