Manipal Institute of Technology is a highly regarded engineering college. Here are a few pros and cons of the institute
Pros:
Cons
Overall the pros clearly overshadow the cons so you can overlook them and consider joining MIT without any hesitation.
NSIT (Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology) became NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) in 2018. As a result of this change, a few key changes were made to the institution:
These are some changes that have been made ever since NSUT became NSUT. More changes are expected in the future!
My sister’s friend could not score a good rank in engineering but was lucky enough to get a seat in BHU UET for Maths Hons.
She shared her experience that this was the best decision of her life as she felt unique. She made a lot of memories and befriended many talented people.
She lived her college life to her fullest extent. From hostels to backlogs, she experienced all the fun. Despite creating hundreds of memories, today her batchmates are in IITs, 10% in IISc Banglore, 15% in IISERs, and 10% in IIMs. The others are booming in their own fields.
Every piece of Knowledge is worth it for your future. A well-structured curriculum is the main attraction of both UpGrad and BITS Pilani. The classes are conducted by experienced faculty, and they have an excellent curriculum that starts with the basics of data structure and then takes you to in-depth video lectures, case studies, and live sessions. The students have the opportunity to perform hands-on work in the live project sessions. The main attraction of this program is the mentors, as they ensure the student's development. The other packages, like the best teaching methodology, weekly assignments, and tasks, will enrich our hands-on experiences, and tie-ups with industries will give us ample opportunities. So try out the course from UpGrad; they won’t disappoint you
It is not that difficult to maintain a 9.8+ CGPA over the course of a semester, but it is pretty hard in the first semester; you actually need to score 10 points to reach the goal. In the following semesters, you can be among the top 10 with good interaction with teachers during the lectures and a good performance in the class tests. Do not mug up the concepts and theory; rather, try to have a deeper understanding of every topic. And last, but not least, it is important to stay away from distractions and reduce your leisure time.
Being at an NIT is itself a great deal. The tag of ‘Nitian’ holds lots of value and prestige. I am listing down certain unique elements of my college-
These are some of the unique elements of NIT Surathkal which make this college truly special.
It is difficult to say which is better, BITS Pilani or IIT Roorkee, as they are both highly respected institutions in India. Both universities have strong programs in engineering, technology, and science.
However, BITS Pilani is known for its focus on undergraduate education, while IT Roorkee is known for its research programs. Yet if I was to choose one, I would have chosen BITS Pilani for BTech
However, if you are someone who is interested in MTech in core branches or is inclined towards research work, then IIT Roorkee has a better research culture. Moreover, the extremely high fees at BITS Pilani might be a demotivating factor for many making IIT Roorkee a much better choice.
My cousin has studied at IIT Bhubaneswar and I can tell you that opting for IIT is a better choice for the following reasons.
The life of a civil service aspirant at JNU is worthwhile and interesting. It is a little bit tougher to stay focused and determined on campus. But many students with strong determination and motivation reached their goal. The life of a civil service aspirant is detailed below
Last but not least, Don’t mess up with your health during your studies; make sure you have 7 hours of sleep every day and do proper exercises, which will help you boost your energy and stay active
No, it's certainly not a wise decision to pursue an MTech after completing BTech from NIT Trichy. The courses and the approach are similar, giving you no newer perspectives and wasting 2 years as well as the money spent. A better alternative is to go for an MS or Ph.D. abroad instead. That will be the true utilization of your money, knowledge, and time.
However, if you are hesitant about going abroad, an MBA from an Indian B school is also a great option.
An MTech in IIT should only be considered if you have a low CGPA and have no project achievement up your sleeve. The MTech course will give you a second chance to improve your grades and work well on projects improving your profile as a whole. This will help you open better Ph.D. options. But if you are not planning to do one, then MTech is again of no use.
