IIT BHU allows flexibility to its students so that they can manage both academics as well as learn extracurricular skills.
Research culture at IITK is better than IIT BHU with more no. of research papers being published every year and more students doing Ph.D. in the College. While infrastructure and labs are equally good at both the colleges. Both IIT BHU and IITK has one of the best faculties compared to top institutions.

IEM being a private institution is strict with its studies. But, being government colleges students can see little slack on education in KGEC and JGEC.
If campus recruitment is the sole criterion, then IEM stands out with a virtuous record. Whereas KGEC and JGEC in can see slack in core branches recruitment.
IEM being situated in the heart of the city’s IT sector, all the companies take interest to see the students from IEM. KGEC and JGEC located outside the main city.
If you compare KGEC with JGEC, KGEC is the way to go. KGEC has a better ratio of placements, infrastructure, facilities, and faculty than JGEC.
Choose KGEC if you want to study in any core department. Otherwise you can choose between JGEC and IEM for other departments. If you are looking for government jobs, KGEC is the one. Choose KGEC without hesitation. If you don’t get a chance to get into KGEC go for JGEC as both being government colleges gives less burden of fees and expenses.
Finally, it’s up to you to choose any one among the three engineering colleges. Based on the parameter, it drives your decision. My suggestion would be go for KGEC and if not then, JGEC over IEM.

Placement Statistics
Students must compare all the programs and institutes properly before selecting one. Whether one of these institutes is the best is difficult to say since it is one’s personal discretion.
When it comes to IIITs, IIIT Hyderabad is by far the BEST. IIIT Bangalore is good as well and has some good faculty, but it doesn't have the fire brand in CS that IIIT Hyderabad does. If you're looking for an advantage, IIIT B is located in Bangalore, but then again, IIIT H is located in Hyderabad, so it's not as good as IIIT H.
IIIT D and IIIT A are both government-run and have a 50% reservation. This puts them behind the above mentioned colleges. IIIT D has better faculty and is located in Delhi, which gives it a certain location advantage. However, IIIT A is an older institute. Both places are filled with Delhiwalas and UP bhai log, which doesn't help them either.
If you're a North Indian, you might like IIIT A/D more than IIIT B, and vice versa. However, almost all Indians like Hyderabad as a city. The majority of people in Hyderabad are friendly and know Hindi, so North Indians find it easier to adjust. At the same time, Hyderabad people are not language chauvinists like other South Indians (read Tamilians and Kannadigas), so that also helps. Plus, if you're a South Indian, you will easily adjust to Hyderabad since it still has a Southern Vibe to it.
In short, IIIT H is the best among the above depending on faculty/location/college life and the general atmosphere. If you're not getting IIIT H, you could try for the Top NITs (only Trichy, Warangal, and Surathkal) and then your famous state colleges like NSIT/DTU for Delhiites, Anna for Tamilians, Jadavpur for Bengalis, COEP for Marathis, etc., JNTU, etc.
PES University is the best of the three because it is autonomous, whereas the other two are still affiliated with VTU. Because PES University is an autonomous college, it has a better course than other VTU colleges, and for your information, it is ranked third in Karnataka engineering colleges. However, the only way to get into PES University is to take the PESSAT or KCET; COMED-K scores are accepted in the other two colleges and the KCET.
They have superior infrastructure, resources, and financial resources. PESIT South Campus shares placement with PESIT Main Campus, so placement students from both campuses almost receive equal pay. However, it would help if you score well in either the CET or the COMED-K to be admitted to any of the PESIT south campus branches.
IIIT Sonepat is among the top 20 new IIITs approved by MHRD. Also, the central and state government offers merit and national scholarships to students.
NIT Srinagar is one of the 18 Engineering Colleges sponsored by the Govt. of India and was also awarded by the ‘Outstanding engineering institute’ by ABP News in 2014. One of the faculty members lauded Rajiv Gandhi's education excellence.
Academics:
IIIT Sonepat offers a BTech in IT and the selection to the program is through JEE Main. The required cutoff for IT in 2019 was 25334 (General). The total course fee is 2.4 lakhs.
NIT Srinagar selects students for BTech CSE through JEE Mains. The required cutoff is 37374. The total course fee is 5.3 lakhs.
Placements:
The placement rate at IIIT Sonepat is 80-90% among the students, and the main roles are offered as software engineers. Microsoft, Amazon, and Flipkart are the top-notch companies that come for recruitment.
The recruitment percentage of ECE students at NIT Srinagar is 80%, with the manager role as the top post. Major recruiters this year included NTPC, IOCL, DRDO, IRCON, TCS, and Punj Lloyd.
The placement statistics for the academic year 2019-20 at the institutes are as follows.

IIIT Sonepat |
NIT Srinagar |
Highest CTC |
?40.63 LPA |
?23 LPA |
Average CTC |
?8.19 LPA |
?6.86 LPA |
Infrastructure:
IIIT Sonepat has excellent hostel services, a proper AC system, and a sports and gaming complex. Besides this, lab and library facilities are at par excellence level of IITs and NITs.
NIT Srinagar has a modern-day infrastructure, which sets it apart from other colleges. It further has a Smart class system, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a well-equipped library to offer.
Faculty:
The majority of teachers at IIIT Sonepat are Ph.D. degree holders with the best industry knowledge and teaching methodology.
The faculty members at NIT Srinagar hold M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees and are subject experts in their fields.
IIIT Sonepat has greater opportunities and options; on the other hand, NIT Srinagar has a demonstrated history of performance over the years. Hence these factors should be kept in mind by students while making a decision.
