Although there isn’t a fixed dress code at KMC Manipal, there are certain expectations the college has in terms of dress code
Girls are expected to wear Indian formals, basically kurtas and leggings or Patialas. You are not expected to wear short kurtas and jeans. No further restrictions regarding dressing have been issued so far.
Boys are expected to wear Western formals. Bring some decent shirts, formal pants, a belt, and formal shoes. You should especially be well-dressed during labs and clinic sessions.
Manipal experiences only rainy and non-rainy weather so you don’t have to worry about winter clothes. Here are a few things you should consider bringing to KMC Manipal
Pack lightly and have a good time here!
You can't get admission through a CGPET scorecard, it is necessary for you to give JEE Main. The selection will be based on JEE mains rank. The selection for CSE is
As there is more competition for the CSE branch, so there is less chance of getting admission for this course. Besides, you can also choose the IT branch because last year, both CSE and IT branch students are eligible for all IT companies placements.
But if you want the CSE branch only, then you have to work hard. You must score more than 140 if you are from OBC category from Chhatisgarh. However, if you from the General category in Chhatisgarh, then your score must be above 170. For students from other states, the score must be around 180.
Getting admission to this institute will not be easy for you. Only your handwork and dedication can make this possible, so give your best.

Medical Council of India (MCI) has guidelines that the minimum age of a student must be 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year.
For example, if you have taken admission in 2021, then you must be 17 years old before 31st December 2021.
The highest age limit is similarly 25 years old. Of course, there are age relaxations on the upper limit based on the reservation system. But most of the students would be in the age range of 17-19 years old.
I would say that roughly 30% - 40% of the students are 17 years old and the rest are 18, 19, or 20 years old. The majority of the students are either fresh out of school or 1-year drop students.
AIIMS Delhi does provide opportunities to its students to go to US and UK during their MBBS.
AIIMS Delhi has exchange programs and collaborations with international universities to facilitate the same. These universities include Harvard Medical School, John Hopkins University, Yale University, and the University of Oxford.
Students of AIIMS Delhi, through these collaborations, travel to the US and UK for exchange programs and research internships. This offers them insights into different healthcare systems and research methodologies. It is a huge learning opportunity that offers enhancement of their development as medical professionals.
To participate, candidates must face high competition and the selection is based on academic performance, and research experience, among other criteria.
But, travel and living expenses can cause a bit of a problem. Travels to Harvard Medical School, John Hopkins University, and the University of Oxford are self-funded.
These expenses can come from your pocket. But even ICMR can provide you grant for your research if you convince ICMR of the potential of your research work.

IGNOU degrees have the required accreditation and are ideal for working professions or students who are pursuing other full-time courses. While DU is a public central university.
So, choosing from one of these completely depends on your requirement. However, in terms of exposure and opportunities, DU is better.
