IIM Visakhapatnam offers clean and well-maintained hostel accommodation to its students. The rooms are provided on a twin-sharing basis and are of identical shape and size. Each room is equipped with two beds, two good-quality mattresses, two cupboards with a few hangers, two tables, two overhead racks, and a split AC. Bathrooms are attached to the rooms and are clean and spacious. The hostel is situated on the beach road and offers a beautiful view of the sea, adding to the overall experience of staying at the hostel.

The hostel is also equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator, kettles, a common room with a LED television and comfy sofa set, fully automated washing machines, clothes drying stands and ropes, high-speed internet, and newspapers. The domestic help comes to clean the rooms on a daily basis and takes care of additional tasks such as fixing bedsheets and folding clothes. The mess/dining area provides breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner options, both South Indian and North Indian.

The hostel also offers recreational facilities such as a TT table, pool table, and carom board, allowing students to make the most of their spare time. Overall, the institute treats its students like guests and takes great care to provide them with all the necessary amenities to make their stay comfortable.

Your hostel life actually depends on your batch and the friends you make. There are no particular rules and it’s you who has to set the routine of your college life. You can wake up at your convenience. Classes start at 9:30 am whereas breakfast is served at 8 am. It’s up to you if you want to spend your morning exercising and reading or rushing to your classes.

The lectures usually end around 4: 30 while some at 6. The lectures give you a break for lunch. Once the lectures end you can spend your time on any activity. Some spend their time hanging out while some prefer studying. It’s up to you how you utilize your free time. 

If you are part of a club most of your time will be invested in meetings, events, parties, presentations, night outs, and many other activities. Your college life will keep you extremely busy that you will even have hardly any time to complete your sleep. But these are your best days so create as many memories as you can.

Despite the relatively recent establishment of IIM Bodh Gaya, the hostel life at the institution has thrived in terms of culture, fun, facilities, quality, and competitiveness.

During the orientation period, current students will assist you in adjusting to the challenging environment of Bihar. You will find yourself building a large network of connections in a short period of time.

Once the academic schedule is complete and you return to your new home, exciting activities await you. With the diverse cultures represented at IIM, there are many major festivals celebrated throughout the year, which provide the opportunity to experience and learn about different traditions and customs. In summary, hostel life at an IIM is challenging, yet exciting and fun, hectic but rewarding, and demanding but skill-building. It is a unique and fantastic experience.

IMT Ghaziabad batch size is huge and one campus is not sufficient to house them. So in 2012 an additional distance campus CDL was made a few km away from the main campus. Both campuses have hostels but the main campus hostels have no air conditioning at all. These hostels are occupied by both girls and boys whereas the CDL hostel is exclusively for boys. This hostel provides both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. To avail of an air-conditioned room, you have to pay an extra fee. These rooms are for the boys only.

I am not exaggerating by saying the IMT Ghaziabad hostel offers the best food you can get at a mess. My cousin was once a student there and had to pay INR 9000 for both food and lodging combined.

• The mess was initiated and is run by the mess committee which is a student body.
•  Everything related to the menu is decided by the mess committee and is feedback based. So the food which most people dislike is taken down while the food which is everyone’s favorite remains on the menu.
• The seasonal dishes are offered regularly 
• The taste is pretty good provided that you have lowered your expectations and are not comparing the messy food with homemade food
• Breakfast is the most elaborate and coveted meal of the day and seasonal fruit is offered every day.
• Non-vegetarians can satisfy their taste buds and thrive for a week.
• The campus canteen is also available and functions 9-5 am. 
• There is a coffee vending machine within the campus for coffee lovers
• You can walk to the Kavi Nagar market for more variety of food.

So if you are worried about food, you can rest assured for IMT Ghaziabad provides the best.

Based on my friends' experience, IMT Ghaziabad’s hostel life is pretty decent. IMT Ghaziabad has two hostels, one at the main campus, the other 3 km away from the main campus. The main campus hostel is mainly occupied by boys and girls of the second year while the other hostel mainly has boys of the first year. Such a mixed setup facilitates team projects and assignments and also makes you ready for the corporate world.

The major highlight of IMT Ghaziabad hostel life are the many fests and events held regularly. They help keep the hostel alive and dynamic.

The food served at IMT Ghaziabad's hostel mess is one of the best you can get. The breakfast is elaborate with everything like aloo parathas, mooli parathas, bread omelet, poha and even tea. The lunch and dinner menu is also no less and the evening snacks are excellent. A canteen and coffee vendor machine operates from 9-4.

IMT Ghaziabad boasts of a very massive and well built auditorium which is where most of the competitions of North B Schools are held. It’s the pride of the institution.

So the hostel life at IMT Ghaziabad is one you will miss forever.

Calling the IIM Vishakhapatnam’s hostel the best is literally not an understatement. It’s the world-class amenities combined with the serene surroundings that make it seem like a resort-like experience. One of my friends was a PGP student at Vizag and stayed at a beach-facing hostel. The sunrise and sunset views from the balcony and terrace make it seem like you are in a hotel and make your hostel life really peaceful and more home-like. Apart from the spectacular views, other major facilities are

• Every flat is given 2 kettles to boil milk or make Maggie
• Every flat has a common area with a TV, sofas, and a refrigerator.
• The rooms have basic furniture like a bed, mattress, study table, chairs, etc.
• Everyone student is allotted a separate wardrobe
• The food is served from a 3-star hotel and is one of the best you can get at a hostel. It caters to every taste bud.
• The terrace has washing machines so that the students can do their laundry in an open area
• Electrical appliances like AC and geysers make your summers and winters comfortable

Overall IIM Vizag has excellent hostel facilities and if you are depressed or stressed about your academics you can take a break by just sitting on the balcony and taking in the breathtaking view.
