Are only Christians allowed in CMC Vellore for MBBS?
I completed my MBBS from CMC Vellore in the year 2018 as a Hindu candidate.
I have simplified the MBBS seat distribution system at CMC Vellore for your understanding.
- Management Seats- 50% of the total are management seats. These are divided into open seats, minority network seats and CMC Vellore staff seats.
- Government Seats- The remaining 50% seats are filled by the Tamil Nadu Government from the State merit list of NEET UG exam. 30% of these seats are allotted to Tamil Nadu students (this includes other forms of reserved seats).
20% of seats are filled by Christian students belonging to Tamil Nadu.

So to answer you, CMC Vellore does offer MBBS seats to non-Christian students. But the number of such seats is low. CMC Vellore is a Christian minority institution. For this reason, the majority of its MBBS and PG seats are reserved for Christian candidates. But a small number of seats can be filled by candidates of other faiths as well.

Do students of JIPMER enjoy their college life very much as AIIMS Delhi?
Yes, students of JIPMER have a more dynamic and thrilling college life than students of AIIMS Delhi. JIPMER students are free to explore outside the campus and students can be seen having breakfast at the beach, spending weekends in some fancy beach resort, driving through White Town with its perfect French architecture, and going for star-gazing on a clear night. They have access to world cuisine from French to Italian to Asian in beautiful restaurants. All these activities speak of the sense of freedom experienced by JIPMER students.
However, this does not certainly mean that the college has no rules and regulations and students are left on their own. There are regulations on dress code and attendance to maintain decorum within the campus. Students follow these rules diligently. Recently they also banned students from bringing vehicles inside the campus, although relaxations were soon made.
All in all, JIPMER does provide more freedom to its students and lets them explore beyond academics without bringing down the discipline of the institute.
Can an average student get into FMS Delhi with a high CAT percentile? What will be a safe CAT score for an average student to get into FMS Delhi?
Of course, yes. FMS Delhi is everyone's ideal college. The pattern has been changed, and the paper is now worth 228 points. A score of 115 is sufficient to receive a call from FMS. It is the only tier-1 college that places little emphasis on previous academic performance. If you scored a 99.50 or higher on the CAT exam, you will almost certainly receive a call from FMS. To transfer to college, one must be fluent in English.
The FMS process includes group discussions, extempore, and, finally, a personal interview. In addition, they included an SOP in their selection process. You must describe who you are, your accomplishments in the workplace, and your motivation for pursuing an MBA in a statement of purpose (SOP).
Everyone is interested in FMS because of its large batch size and high ROI. To get into FMS, you must score higher than the 99 percentile. Try your hardest to achieve the highest percentile possible while ignoring your academic records. FMS is the best option for you if your academic performance is subpar. Because the college calls candidates 10 times the number of seats, scoring 99.50 percentile guarantees you a call from FMS. There are 251 seats available in FMS. Simply devote yourself entirely to the preparations and concentrate on increasing your percentile. The higher your CAT exam score, the more likely it is that you will convert.
How can I crack BHU B.Com. entrance exam?
Here are some preparation tips for BHU B.Com entrance examination.
- Revise the 11th and 12th subjects thoroughly.
- Practice MCQ questions and go through the previous years’ questions.
- Practice basic Maths (up to 10th). The entrance examination will have 15 mathematics questions.
- You can refer to BHU B.Com preparation book by Arihant.
- The entrance will have questions about current affairs as well. So, stay updated about the current happenings.
It’s not possible to estimate how many questions you need to answer correctly or how many marks you will need to get a shortlist. BHU cutoff depends on the competition of that year.
How is the life at NIET?
My friend from school used to be a student of NIET and he has said there are two cases of life in NIET: the hostler and day scholars.
- For the hostelers, before starting life at NIET, it should be known that there are two campuses, the main campus which is for the second, third, and fourth-year students, and the campus for the students of the first year.
- If you are a hosteler, then life as a student will be nothing short of a mess. There are two hostels: the flat hostel which accommodates 1-2 students and the Om Hostel which has accommodation for 3-4 students.
- The mess in the hostel gives food which leaves a lot to be desired. Initially, the food provided is good but as time goes, the quality of the food deteriorates. And the quality does not improve, unfortunately.
- Day scholars have it easy in the institute but if the students live far off then the to and fro journey can get burdensome.
However, looking on the bright side, the faculty is supportive provided you are willing to put in the effort. The institute has a good library and despite the fact that the classes not having ACs, the labs do.
Is Loyola College in Chennai very strict?
Loyola College has a few rules regarding attendance and usage of cell phones on campus. Students are required to maintain at least 80% attendance. Usage of Cell phones is prohibited during lectures and in the library. Although the college doesn’t have a uniform, students are expected to dress decently. Carrying student ID is mandatory.
As long as you don’t bunk too many lectures or get on the wrong side of professors, you shouldn’t face much trouble.
How advantageous is a dual degree in IIITM Gwalior?
Here are some of the advantages of pursuing a dual degree from IIITM Gwalior.
- You will complete your BTech in 3 years, and you can choose between an MTech or an MBA.
- The dual degree program includes some extra courses which aren’t covered in 4-year B.Tech courses.
- You will have more time to prepare for competitions such as GSoC, TGMC, ICPC, etc.
- IIITMG has an active research culture. You can do research projects during your UG and PG course.
These are some of the advantages of dual degree programs offered by IIITMG.
Does all the AIIMS have the same freedom environment like bringing anyone to their rooms no hostel timings or is it only for the AIIMS Delhi?
In AIIMS Bhopal, the hostel deadline for girls is 10 pm and for boys, there are no timings. Even for the girls, the library is open till 2 AM. There are no strict timings for both the girls and boys and they can stay out after 10 pm also. Many students do that.
From the third year, these timings and rules are even more relaxed. Until the third year, a student can have minor arguments with the warden or the guard but there will be no major issues or problems. For events also, there is no one to watch you. With the help of the student union, no one interferes in the college fests or events. They don’t keep a student under eye for 24*7 and students can be around in the hostel campus these times as late as 4 am also.
These rules are relaxed after the first year as earlier the deadline was off till 9 pm for girls. The rule of boys could not enter girls hostels and vice versa still pertains. The students can visit the PG and intern hostels at any time.
How good is the TAPMI MBA? How are the placements there?
In my opinion, University of Dubai is recognized by the AASCB, but it doesn't have a campus because it's still being built (Dubai Academic City), and there's no clear information about its placement rates.
Aside from this, another important thing to think about is ROI. According to what I know, if someone gets a job that pays AED8,000 but doesn't cover housing and food, it will take at least three years for the money to pay off.
Another factor is Dubai Visa Regulations. If you can stay there for a long time, I think it all depends on the company that pays for your visa. I asked a few of my friends who work in Dubai, and they said it's good if the job comes with housing and food. Lastly, I would suggest that you think about the things I've described above before signing up for the course.
