Cognizance is the annual technical fest at IIT Roorkee. It is the culmination of the finest technical minds of the country showcasing their skills and ideas. It features a wide array of events and exhibitions. As per my experience, I would say yes, the cognizance is worth attending once. Some of the features of the tech fest are listed below. 

• It is a place that helps us to show our talents in our respective fields. 
• The major categories that are included in this fest are Robotics, Sky High, Algo Arena, Business and Finance, Cogitation Summit, Department-based Research Paper Presentation, Off the Cuff, and Gaming. 
• The fest has many events like technical workshops, talks, competitions and exhibitions. 
• Some activities that are done in the fest are case studies, and business and finance events.
• It also adds value to society. Some of the social work done under Cognizance are SAVE (Sustaining And Valuing Environment), FIFA (Food Initiative For All), CARES (Covid Awareness and Relief Enactment Scheme) and UTSE (Uttarakhand Talent Search Examination).
• The 2024 theme for Cognizance is Quantistico Scientia where participants were exposed to the latest technologies through an adventure-like concept. It ran from March, 15 to March 17, 2024. 

The computer science and engineering (CSE) courses at IIT Madras are highly regarded as some of the best courses at IIT Madras. The BTech course is renowned for its rigorous curriculum and practical approach. Equal emphasis is given to practical aspects of theory. The Incubation Centre at IIT Kanpur provides an excellent platform for budding entrepreneurs by providing the necessary help to convert their ideas into commercially viable products.
