What initiatives promote out-of-the-box thinking at IIT Madras?

From July 2022 IIT Madras is offering the 'Thinking Outside the Box' course which is an excellent opportunity for students, professionals, and researchers to gain skills and knowledge.

Startups offer different courses here to help develop solutions through various technologies. This course is offered free of charge by IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation (a Sector 8 company of IIT Madras). You can get your certificate by appearing for the exam at different locations of IIT Madras and paying a nominal fee.

• Centre for Innovation (CFI) student lab encourages creative and innovative projects from. 
• Nirmaan is an event that helps students develop and find new solutions to real-life problems.
• NPTEL is a platform that offers online courses to enhance learning. 
• They also provide startup support like the IITM Incubation Cell to provide resources and guidance to budding businesses.
