IIT Kharagpur has adopted a notional factor of 10 for CGPA to Percent conversion.
This basically means that
Your % = Your C.G.P.A. * 10
Whenever you are required to provide proof of your marks to a company, you can submit your grade sheet. A provisional grade sheet is provided by the institute only on request and after payment of the requisite fee - INR 25
So, your CGPA of 6.5 can be converted into 65 percent.

The Dev Sanskriti University in Haridwar is appropriate for the students as it has a very welcoming and accepting environment.
Here are some facts about it:
- The faculty is highly experienced and extremely cooperative.
- The college students are very enthusiastic about organization and participation in fests and cultural programs.
- Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV) is very strict when it comes to discipline.
- They are strict about holidays and taking leaves.
- A 75% attendance is compulsory for all the students, failing which they will not be allowed to sit for the exams.
- The college food is average.
- The timings for lunch and dinner are really bad. Breakfast is at 6 AM, Lunch timing is 11 AM and Dinner timing is 5 PM.
Overall the college is good, but for out-station students the adjustment to the place, food, weather, etc. will take some time. Try making friends who will make you familiar with the place and its surroundings.

Honestly, there isn't much difference in the level of difficulty of the two papers i.e., NEET and JIPMER. Both the exams are based on NCERT although JIPMER occasionally includes questions out of NCERT Syllabus. JIPMER is relatively easy as most questions are small and simple unlike some complex ones included in NEET.
To prepare for the JIPMER exam all you need to do is go through the previous year's questions, revise your concepts, and formulas, name reactions of organic, and most importantly remain calm throughout preparing for the exam.

Do you think the NIT Calicut hostel is good?
One of my friends once shared his experiences considering the Hostel of NIT Calicut, whether it is good or bad or anything, but the student must be prepared to incident all kind of things at the time of staying in the hostel.
- There are 4 people in one room, specifically in the first year, second year, and third year. However, it is fine and can be accepted.
- The hostel rooms of NIT Calicut are prepared for 3 accommodations only, that in a room, 3 students can stay; there are 3 beds with proper spacing in the room, 3 cupboards, and charging points.
- My friend told me that the college administration might try to bring all the students very close to each other to increase unity. The reason behind this thinking is that 4 students are staying in one single room, although the accommodation is for 3 students in each room.
You might be given a basic crash course regarding the student's body language. This will help you to understand the language spoken by hostel guards and managers as they were from Kerala and speak in Malayalam. Thus, the students from North India and Andhrapradesh (Telegu) must be ready to face this issue in the hostel.
There is always an electricity problem is a hostel, and a student has to use their own mobile data to perform their academics and assignment. Because no electricity means no internet, no fan, no light, and this is very common in the hostel of NIT Calicut. Students may face 2 nights without electricity.
Should I choose Vellore Institute of Technology or Mahindra Ecole Centrale or Manipal Institute of Technology?
While comparing institutes, you should consider these parameters-infrastructure, faculty, fee structure, and placement record:

Paris, and is of good quality.
- Fee- B.Tech CSE at VIT Vellore will cost you INR 1.95 lakhs each year. From MIT, this course will cost you INR 18.62 lakhs in total, while from MEC, it will cost you 4.50 lakhs per year. So VIT Vellore is more adorable than the other two.
- Placements- B.Tech placements of VIT Vellore are good. The average package of VIT Vellore stood at INR 9.23 LPA in 2023. MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, D.E. Shaw, Paypal, etc. visit the campus for placements.
At MEC, the average package stands near 7 LPA. At Manipal, the average package for 2023 was INR 14.10 LPA, and the median package was INR 8.5 LPA.
I would suggest you reach out to the alumni from each college. This will give you a clearer picture of how things are at the ground level. According to me, Manipal Institute of Technology, VIT, and MEC, all have their own strengths and weaknesses.
