IIT’s are the best engineering institutes of the country and IIT Bhubaneshwar ranks at 22 among the engineering colleges in India according to the NIRF Ranking of 2020. Since Electrical Engineering has been from the start of IIT Bhubaneswar, placements are great there. The curriculum of Electrical Engineering incorporates recent industry requirements. The placements for the early years were not that great but for the last 2 years, the situation is incrementing. In 2019 placement drive 86% of students from Electrical Engineering got placement and the average CTC offered at this IIT was 11.4 LPA. IIT’s have the best faculties in the country. The level of research work and the flexibility they provide is exceptional.
In 2019 the CSE department at NIT Nagpur had the highest number of job offers, 78. The average package was around 7 LPA which stands below IIT Bhubaneshwar.
The level of exposure and practical experience at IIT is exceptional and would help in developing extracurricular skills and potential development. So, between NIT Nagpur CSE and IIT Bhubaneswar EE, IIT Bhubaneswar EE is the better choice.
It is important to note that XIMB does not consider the GK section in its selection process for its management programs. This information is confirmed and can be verified through research. Additionally, it is important to note that the GK section is only considered by the parent institution organizing the XAT exam, XLRI Jamshedpur, during their selection process.
It is important to keep in mind that different institutions have different selection criteria and it's crucial to be aware of the same while applying.

Yes, the institution does have an NGO which goes by the name” Rahat: Be the change-maker”. This NGO is operational under the supervision of LNCT Bhopal and the students that are enrolled in one of the courses offered by the institute.
We can make them happy by joining the NGO and by working to achieve the goals. You or anyone interested can join the NGO by contacting the class coordinator of your batch. We hope that more and more students and volunteers would become a part of this NGO for the betterment of these children.
The qualifying marks for IIT JAM Physics 2019 general category was 24.99 and 15,501 students appeared for the exam. The cut off varies every year depending on the institute, subject, caste, level of difficulty of the paper. But as an approximation, a decent rank lying in the 100s range can be expected to be well above the cut off marks.
The cut off for 2019 of IIT Bhubaneswar in the general category for Physics was 259 and 339 as the opening and closing ranks respectively. In IIT Jodhpur the cutoff for Physics in the general category was 304 and 401 as the opening and closing ranks respectively. The cut off for 2019 of IIT Indore in the general category was 401 for Physics.
Considering the above cut-offs, it can be optimistically said that you have a good chance of getting admission to the above-mentioned institutes.
Yes, internal sliding is done before the sport counselling in the IET Lucknow. College will release a notice regarding the internal sliding, you just apply to that. The remaining seats are fulfilled through spot counselling.
If the branch is changed then it may happen that you will have to appear for the examination of the new branch without attending any classes. Your teachers and classmates might help you at that point of time.
IET Lucknow earlier used to have a very lenient approach towards attendance. But since the new director has joined the institute, Mr. H.K Paliwal has mandated that students should have an attendance of at least 75% throughout the semester to attend the exams and the tests.
If you have attendance lower than 75% then you may be discarded from giving tests and exams. Even final-year students have suffered from this new rule. So I would suggest not to mess up with this.
I would suggest you go with VJTI CS as it will be a better choice in the long run. Computer science is in demand with the number of job openings increasing every day in the country. VJTI’s computer science program is famous in the country and is known for its curriculum with a dedicated emphasis on practical learning. The college has a dedicated faculty pool and most of them are also engaged in research. VJTI's location also benefits it to a thriving industry ecosystem, providing students with ample opportunities for research, internships and industry collaborations.
Placement is another factor in which VJTI is better according to me. In 2024, A total of 401 BTech students were placed with the highest package secured by a BTech Computer Science student which stood at INR 57 LPA. The average package for the BTech Computer Science branch was INR 20 LPA.
It is important to note that UpTop does not provide job assistance after the completion of the course. This means that if your primary purpose for taking the course is to secure a job, it may not be the best fit for you. UpTop's job assistance is limited and once the course is completed, the organization may not be responsive or helpful when it comes to job opportunities or assistance.
Additionally, while UpTop may promise many things in the course brochure, it is important to note that their contribution to the course is limited. They primarily collect the course fee and do not provide any additional resources or support.
Furthermore, UpTop's customer service may be lacking, as they may become rude or unresponsive when asked for job assistance or about job openings. This can be particularly concerning for those who are looking to change their career or switch jobs, as the course may not be able to fulfill its intended purpose. Therefore, investing 80k in a course that may be of little use in fulfilling career goals may not be a wise decision.
Lastly, their communication and follow-up post-course may be poor, as they may leave the participant's WhatsApp group after the course is completed, delay the delivery of the course certificate, and may not respond to emails or even block you on WhatsApp.
In conclusion, it is suggested to stay away from UpTop as they have a reputation for being unprofessional and primarily focused on making easy money, rather than providing quality education and job assistance.
First and foremost, you will be eligible to sit for the BCOM(A&F) term-end examination only if you submit assignments relevant to your course. To do so, you must first download the assignment question papers from the IGNOU portal online or visit the regional centre, where they will provide you with the question papers offline, and then write the answers for those assignments and submit them at the applicable study centre you selected during your course registration. Obtain an acknowledgement copy of the submission status and check the submission status online on a regular basis.
If you have passed your CA- CPT (foundation) and CA- IPCC (intermediate), you will be exempt from writing a few subjects.
The application process for examinations can be done online or offline. Your examination application will only be processed if your assignment submission status is updated online.
If you are applying offline, you must obtain a copy of the application printout or purchase it from the IGNOU office, complete it, and have it signed by study centre personnel before mailing it to the regional centre corresponding to your exam centre of choice, along with a DD for the desired examination fee as prescribed.
In terms of preparation, you should focus on your upcoming CA final exams first, and then immediately begin working on your BCOM exam preparation. IGNOU's study material is more than adequate, and it attempts to cover all of the volumes contained within it.
Furthermore, you can download previous years' question papers from the IGNOU portal (minimum up to three attempts suggested and maximum depending on time available) and try to answer those questions accordingly.
