How can I choose NMIMS distance learning?
You can apply for NMIMS distance courses through online mode. You need to fill up the registration form online and proceed to pay the admission processing fee.
Online Admission Process - NGASCE has selected authorized enlistment partners (AEP) across India. You can reach out to them for assistance. They will be able to provide detailed information regarding course prerequisites, expectations, charges, and other requirements. They will help you throughout the enrollment process.
While visiting AEP, take the following documents with you – Academic Marksheets, Work Experience (if any), Photo Identity, Passport-size Photographs. The counselor will verify the documents and upload the same on the portal.
Following that, you can pay the fees online mode or through a demand draft drawn in the favour of SVKM’s NMIMS payable at Mumbai.
When will applications for PhD will start ?
Amity Noida has released the application notification for Ph.D. The last date to apply for the program is 20 May 2022. PET dates are 25 May and 15 June 2022. They will soon declare the interview dates. Only those students who qualify for PET will get the interview calls. Can I switch from manufacturing to finance after an MBA from colleges such as XIMB, IMT, etc.?
It is possible for you to switch your specialization from operations to finance while pursuing an MBA. I see that you have got accepted into IIM Jammu but still are willing to switch to a better IIM.
Regarding the fees, lessening you will have to refer to the prospectus. I think there is a certain date beyond which there might be a fixed deduction.
But this process of deduction and refund will take place at IIM Jammu itself and does not concern the new IIM you will be joining.
So whichever institute you are joining next, the admission process and fees deposition will begin afresh.
Can I change my Nicmar campus from Goa to Pune? Will I be looked down as sponsored candidate?

How do I change my shift from the second to the first at MAIT? I am a boy from Delhi.
Changing shifts at MAIT is very easy and there is no need to worry about it. However, you must ask yourself these questions before shifting the batch - Did you wish to change your shift officially or did you simply want to sit and study in the classes which took place in the first shift?
- In case yours is the first case, then you can easily change your shift from the university, and if your case is the second then you need to visit the Director-General of the college.
- But first, write an application in which you pronounce the reason for changing the shift. Give a good reason for that, explain it well.
However, the second option might feel better to you in comparison with the first because then you will not have to spend 10,000–12,000 and you will be able to change it within 24 hours.
For that, you will have to talk to the Dean or the HOD of the department and give them a convincing reason to accept your request. The process will be easy because it involves the simple act of communication, and wouldn't require any formality, but your reason should be plausible enough for them to grant your request.
Should I choose the newer IIMs over XLRI Jamshedpur for the IIM tag?
No, you should not choose new IIMs over XLRI Jamshedpur, just because of the IIM tag. XLRI is among the most reputed management institutes in the country. It ranks right after the top IIMs, i.e. IIM A, B, and C, along with ISB, FMS, and IIML.
XLRI is easily among the top 5 B-Schools in India at present. It is even compared to IIM ABC. It is way ahead of new IIMs. Even IIM L, K, or I are not considered at par with XLRI.
