What was the CGPA of the student who grabs the highest package at Haldia Institute of Technology in chemical engineering department?

NS
Natasha Singhal Posted On : September 23rd, 2021
Studied B.Tech Biotechnology,Haldia Institute of Technology (2016)

One of my brothers was placed in a prominent company through on-campus placement. As per his experience, CGPA isn’t required for the process of getting a good job.

He scored 9 CGPA and many of his friends scored less than him yet they were successfully placed in prominent companies. The reason behind this is that marks hardly matters when recruiters visit campus moreover, they are all focused on your knowledge and skills.

Getting a good placement is definitely a dream for all the engineers but you definitely have to brush up on your skills and knowledge before sitting for the recruitment process.

Can we go out of utkal university hostel in bbsr?

TM
Tanya Mahapatra Posted On : November 2nd, 2021
Utkal University, Bhubaneswar

I have a few friends from Utkal University, who used to stay in hostels. According to them, you can go out of hostels. You need to be back before the notified time in the evening. If you need to stay out beyond the curfew time, you will have to get permission from the superintendent or the deputy superintendent. If you need to stay out of the hostel for more than one day you will have to apply through proper channel.

In case of departmental occasions like freshers’ party or annual day, you can stay out late. An application forwarded by the departmental head will be enough.

How can a biology student prepare for IPM IIM Indore test?

RB
Rupsa Banerjee Posted On : August 20th, 2021
B.Sc Economics(Honours) Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune, Symbiosis International University, Poona (2020)

There is no use of Biology in the exam or the course. It does not matter if you are a biology student or not.

You just need to play around with English and basic maths. You can get into the college even if you are from a Biology background because the admission test is standardized for everyone. It is quite difficult when it comes to the mathematics section of the question paper. So, prepare well.

How is the hostel facility in Jamia Hamdard University?

Raktim Tarafdar Posted On : September 25th, 2023

I have spent a year in Jamia Hamdard University boy’s hostel. This makes me eligible to answer your doubt.

The mess and laundry facility are nice but quite costly. During winter, there is a geyser facility at the hostel. Only the MHR hostel has an AC facility. But it costs around 1,45,000 to get a bed in this hostel, and the rooms are two-seater.

To buy milk and milk products, you can go to the Mother Dairy booth. Grocery shops, amul corner, cafeteria, and other canteens are all located close to the hostels.

There are much cheaper flats at the Tughlakabad extension. But flats have food-related issues. It becomes hectic to manage your studies and cooking simultaneously. But if you can manage this, then flats are a more cost-efficient choice in this case.

The hostel facility is sufficiently good, but the cost is on the higher side.
