How are the hostel facilities at anna university Guindy campus for boys?
There are almost ten hostels or more for CEG boys. You will undoubtedly enjoy the hostel life there, despite the facilities not being as good as those at private colleges.
The cost of the hostel, including meals, will be about INR 22,000 per semester. The rules at the hostel are not too strict. You may roam until 10.30 p.m. Any electronic device is acceptable.

There are hostel facilities available for First-year students and it is comparatively superior to all colleges in the city. The Hostel has rules and regulations of its own for you to follow. The facility is optional. You may or may not choose to live on campus. You need to follow the rules and not damage any property, it will be a smooth sail for you then. The campus also follows a strict anti-ragging policy so your stay is safe.
There are various facilities available if you choose to live on campus:
- The mess serves 4 meals a day with a slight variation in the menu. You can avail these meals complimentary with your accommodation.

- You can play Table tennis, badminton, football, Cricket in the TT room or on the ground.
- There is a gym too but you will be charged extra if you choose to sign up for it.

How are hostels at MNNIT Allahabad for 1st year?
MNNIT Allahabad hostel facilities are good for first-year students. The rooms are triple sharing but specious. Students are provided with all basic amenities. The hostels have wifi. But the internet speed may bother you at times. Food offered at the mess isn’t too good. But eventually, you will get used to it. Most hostels have cafeteria, indoor games room, and auditorium.
How are the facilities in hostels at NIT Rourkela?
NIT Rourkela has amazing accommodation facilities with a few disadvantages too.
Pros
- NIT Rourkela students are provided with a LAN port per room that operates from 5:30 pm to 8 am and the entire day on weekends.
- There are paid laundry services. Although I will recommend washing the expensive pieces of clothing yourself.
- Students are allotted double rooms for 3 years and single rooms in the final year.
- The campus has a night canteen that operates till 1 am. There is also a day canteen too that runs from 10 am to 7 pm.
- The hostels have enough sports facilities like volleyball or badminton.
- Students are also provided DC++ for downloading stuff.
- The hostels even have a garden and cycle stand to park your cycles.
Cons
- The food served in the mess is not really good, especially on weekdays.
- Rourkela experiences an extreme climate during summer so you will have to make arrangements for cooling.
- Students are prohibited from bringing two-wheelers on campus.
So NIT Rourkela hostel facilities have more pros than cons.
What are the facilities provided by Kirori Mal College Hostel?
It is one of the better hostels offered by any DU-affiliated college. The various facilities offered to the students at Kirori Mal College’s hostel include:
- A common room has table tennis and a TV.
- An average-sized study room.
- Freshwater with 3 water coolers. Sanitation depends on you.
- The food offered is good and affordable.
- A big sports ground.
- A dedicated parking space.
- Double seater rooms are also provided with balconies.
They also excuse late-night entry in the hostel, so there is minimal restriction. The best thing about it is its affordability, the hostel fees are around INR 50,000 per year, and also it is considered to be the best one offered by DU.
Is there a hostel facility in KJ Somaiya for engineering students?
Yes, there is a hostel facility in KJ Somaiya but not specifically for Engineering students. It’s a shared residence for engineering, commerce, and arts stream students. There are two hostels on the campus of KJ Somaiya:
- Polytechnic hostel
- SIMSR Hostel
Polytechnic hostel
Pros:
The crowd here is more than that of the Management hostel. This is because
- Cheaper than Management hostel
- Better food than Management hostel
- Located in the vicinity of engineering college
Cons:
- Mixed crowd
- Common washrooms
- Condition of rooms not as good as management hostel
- Has bunk beds
SIMSR Hostel
Pros:
- The crowd here is good so you grow as a better person
- They give preference to management and engineering students both.
- NRI students get the most priority here
- Very comfortable rooms and better facilities
- Some engineering faculty also stay here so they can be consulted during any emergencies
Cons
- Hostel fees are extremely high almost thrice as the polytechnic hostel
- Food is not as good as polytechnic hostel
- Chances of getting into this hostel are rare
How are the hostel facilities for girls at KGMU?
The hostel facilities for girls at KGMU are one of the best in UP. In the first year, the girls are allotted the VL Hall. Recently, a New PG girls hostel has been opened It's a 6-storey building equipped with modern infrastructure. Here are a few pics of the girls' hostel facilities at KGMU

What are the hostel facilities provided at IIM Indore?
Both the hostels as well as campus at IIM Indore are really beautiful. But you will not get the time to enjoy it if you are really focused on your studies.
Hostels at IIM Indor are 10-15 blocks named alphabetically. Each block has 3-4 floors and each floor has 4 common washroom facilities. Some blocks are old while some are relatively new with better facilities. You don’t get to choose your hostel rather its chosen through a chit system.
- There are single occupancy rooms with a bed with mattress, a wardrobe, table and a chair.
- Wi-Fi and LAN facilities are available.
- A General Store run by students named Pi-Store will have all the necessary items you require
- A vendor mess facility for everyday meals is available
- There is a swimming pool, gym, tennis court and a huge library
So the hostels at IIM Indore are decked with amazing facilities and will make your stay memorable and comfortable.
How is the hostel life at AIIMS Jodhpur?
AIIMS Jodhpur hostel facilities are excellent as single rooms are available from the first year itself giving a sense of freedom to its students. I am attaching a few pics that will give you an idea of the hostel life there.

- There is a library in the hostel that has non-fiction books too
- Late-night parties, card games, mobile games, and staying up late at night is a common occurrence
- DJ parties during celebrations or for fun are common
- Watching TV together in the common room, especially during IPL is another level of experience
- Movies and cricket are other forms of entertainment here.
All in all, hostel life at AIIMS Jodhpur is so fun-filled that you will cherish the memories forever.
