Is 70 percent good for IIM?
Admission to IIMs in general and IIM Ahmedabad specifically are done on the basis of the Common Admission Test or CAT. IIMs are the best institutes that provide MBA programs across the country and thus the admission criteria too are rigid. The focus on academic background is less than CAT and the minimum percentage required in Graduation is 50 percent marks in any discipline. The primary focus is on the CAT score and WAT-PI.
Generally, IIMs eligibility criteria are 50 percent marks in Graduation and CAT scores. However, the IIM shortlisting criteria for admission include 95+ CAT percentile and 70 percent and above in graduation. This means 50% makes you eligible for admission but 70% and above makes you a better candidate for admission thereby increasing your chances of a call. It’s best to aim higher than the CAT cut-off percentile fixed for that year to maximize your chances of selection.

Is a BITS Pilani MBA good or bad?

BITS Pilani is not good at placement when compared with other leading institutes in India like IITs and IIMs, but BITS is better than the third-grade institutes. So it is better to focus on your improvement in the subject rather than the college.

JNTUH stands for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad whereas JNTUH CEH stands for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad- College of Engineering.
- JNTUH is an autonomous university and just like any other university, it follows its rules.
- They also update their courses regularly as per the needs of the students.
- JNTUH CEH is an autonomous college referred to as University College by most students.
- JNTUH CEH is mainly for technical branches and studies related to it.
- The University College is under the management and jurisdiction of JUNUH.
- Jawaharlal Nehru University provides affiliation to various other Engineering and Pharmacy Institutions.
Also the JNTU- H is commonly used to differentiate between the main and the sister universities like JNTUK is for Kakinada, JNTUA is for Anantapur. It is differentiated by the post letter after the main institute’s name.
Which is better in terms of further opportunities for higher exams preparation, CS at IET Lucknow or at JSS Noida?
You can go for CS at IET Lucknow since it will offer you a job right after the completion of your graduation. Other than that, it also provides a good environment to pursue your higher studies. Yes, VTU will do an aggregate over your 4 semesters, for your degree certificate. Your grades will be decided on your score in the last semester. If your average percentage of 4 semesters is more than 60% and less than 70%, then you will get first class. If your average is above 70%, then you will clear your BE with first class and distinction.
