What is the minimum rank to get into IIT Delhi?

What was your best moment at IIM-Ahmedabad?
During your time on the IIM Ahmedabad campus, you will make many memorable moments. Some of my friends are from IIM Ahmedabad. For them, the best moment was listening to the inspiring convocation speech by the then president Dr. Abdul Kalam. While some claim receiving the degree certificate was something quite special.
How is ISBR Business School for MBA? How are the placements?
ISBR is among the top institutes in the management education space of India. It has a proven track record of producing skilled and efficient management professionals. ISBR gives students the chance to take part in different activities and courses from the first trimester itself. What is your opinion of IFIM, Bangalore as a business school? Is it worth the investment to do the program here?
IFIM Business School is one of the best private B-Schools in India, placing 26th in the NIRF rankings. It is also AACSB-accredited and a member of AACSB International.
- IFIM provides a variety of MBA programs, including PGDM, PGDM (Finance), PGDM (IB), PGDM (Analytics), and Executive PGDM. The programs are meant to prepare students for the corporate world by providing them with industry-specific information, skills, and exposure.
- The instructors at IFIM are highly seasoned professionals with academic and corporate backgrounds. They emphasize practical learning and employ innovative teaching methods to interest pupils. IFIM also collaborates with overseas colleges to provide students with global exposure.
- The campus is outfitted with modern amenities such as a library, computer labs, sports facilities, and student housing. The college also assists students with placement, with a track record of 100% placement for its PGDM batch.

What are the differences between IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta and IIM Bangalore?
Among IIM ABC, IIM Ahmedabad is most preferred by MBA aspirants. The long-standing legacy is the reason why most people view IIM A as a superior option. However, all three of these IIMs are almost on the same level in terms of academics and placements. IIM Ahmedabad is most preferred for Marketing. While IIM Bangalore is well-known for offering good Consulting job roles. For Finance specialization, IIM Calcutta is the first choice for students.
The faculties and infrastructure are great at all three of these institutes. People who have the choice between these three IIMs, usually choose based on the specialization they are interested in.
Should I choose XLRI or NITIE?
Both NITIE and XLRI are reputed and well-known institutes with exceptional opportunities due to which it is a tough decision to make. However, some points may be taken into account which would be helpful for you to make a decision for your future.
Ranking:
XLRI has reportedly ranked 1st among the top private management universities by Outlook India 2020’s evaluation reports. NITIE has ranked 12th for its MBA program by NIRF’s evaluation in 2020.

The highest and medium salary packages remain to be around 38 LPA and 20 LPA. The placement rate is 98%.
Both these institutes provide modern classrooms, advanced necessaries, libraries. Faculty members of both the institutes are helpful. Both boy’s and girl’s hostel accommodation is provided by both the institutes as well.
How is CSE at NIT Rourkela?
CSE at NIT Rourkela isn’t a very good option given that its curriculum is outdated and the pedagogy adopted to deliver modern concepts is very obsolete. Most of the foundation courses are taught like Maths which only cover the theoretical aspect of CSE. For the practical perspective involving implementing and developing new things, you will have to resort to self-study.
The faculty is very cooperative and assists you with innovative ideas and guides you in their respective fields. One of my friends and his batchmates set up a cluster to share large computations over a network and received enough guidance from the professors. However, as for the implantation details, they had to go the extra mile and figure out that stuff themselves.
In general, students who are keen to transform their rhetorical knowledge of computers into practical ones have to resort to self-study. So, the opportunities offered at NIT Rourkela CS are plenty if you make the right use of them.
Hey, can I get into model engineering college through cusat rank?
One of my friends is studying at Model Engineering College (MEC) in Kerala. According to her insights, MEC is APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) affiliated. In the past, it was CUSAT affiliated but not anymore.
Academic Eligibility
- Passes HSE Kerala or recognized equivalent exam with 50% in Mathematics separately and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotech/ CS / Biology in aggregate for admission.
Selection Eligibility
- The selection depends upon the entrance exam KEAM, conducted by CEE Kerala.
- It has two papers. Paper-I includes Physics and Chemistry, and Paper-2 is Mathematics.
- A rank list is prepared according to which seats are allotted.
- The branches offered by the institute are CSE, ECE, EEE, Electronics and Biomedical Engineering, and ME.
- There are 420 seats for B.Tech in aggregate.
According to her, it is better to go for CUSAT than MEC Kerala. The opportunities offered are more in CUSAT. Overall, you cannot get admission to MEC Kerala based on CUSAT.
What would be better for me: NIT Trichy, DTU or NSIT CSE, if I am a north student?
NIT Trichy does not only offer a better placement scenario but also offers a unique learning experience especially if you are a north Indian. You will get to learn many new things and experience the diversity of cultures. A friend shared his experience. After studying at NIT Trichy
- Language: He was able to differentiate between Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. He made some amazing South Indian friends that taught him a lot about their cultures
- Crowd: The peer quality is no joke here as you will be surrounded by some of the best minds in the country. This intense competition will only encourage you to perform better
- Extracurricular: NIT Trichy has around 50 clubs catering to various passions and fields. There are technical as well as social clubs that are completely run by the students. There are clubs for everything from theater and drama to music and fine arts.
- Soft Skills: At NIT Trichy you will get the chance to inculcate some amazing soft skills that will enhance your CV. You can become a marketing manager for a national-level college tech or cultural fest.
- English Language: The only way to survive here is to speak English so NIT Trichy also helps in improving your English language which is very important in today's world.
To summarize, NIT Trichy is better than NSIT and DTU in every aspect except location.
How good is the FPM program in IIM Kozhikode and what are the requirements to get into it?
The FPM program at IIM Kozhikode is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in research and academia. It’s recommended to be less dependent on your guide and then your program will be easier. The only disadvantage is that married students get their degree first and then married accommodation. There is intense competency for married accommodations here. Here are a few pros and cons to determine the worth of IIM Kozhikode
Pros
- IIM Kozhikode is surrounded by natural beauty and has a beautiful campus
- You can get non-veg food outside the campus
- The institute boasts of stellar placements
- The institute is known for its huge emphasis on sports and excellent sports facilities.
Cons
- Pathetic hostel facilities with sometimes 7 people sharing the same 2BHK in Housing block C&D.
- There isn’t any A/C faculty and students have to bear the terrible heat
- Lack of different mess and variety of cuisine. Most IIMs have South Indian and North Indian mess.
- Because of its natural beauty, it is home to many insects and mosquitoes.
- Poor faculty for some subjects with no option to change.
- Unnecessary restrictions and rules imposed on students.
FPM eligibility criteria
For the IIM Kozhikode FPM program, candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance, Qualifying examination scores, and Research Proposal. After shortlisting they are called for a Personal Interview. The minimum cut-off for the CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, and IIMB Tests is mentioned in the table below:
