Different branches have different opening ranks and one needs to clear the cutoff to secure a seat in that specific branch. JEE Cutoff 2023 will be decided on the following parameters

  • Previous year’s cutoff trends
  • The number of candidates who appeared for the exam
  • Availability of seats at IIT Delhi
  • The difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2023
  • Category of Candidates

Since JoSAA hasn’t yet revealed the Cutoff for this year, let’s consider the previous year's cutoff to get an idea of the rank required to secure admission to IIT Delhi.

The cut off depends upon many various factors such as number of students appeared, difficulty of examination, and changed ranking of institutes. Cut off of each institute is different for different categories, such as categories based on caste and gender. If the sole purpose of any student is just to get an admission into IIT Delhi then the lowest rank holder to get a call has 5679 AIR, which is quite high. However, if you have a desired branch that you dream about and are very motivated then you must pull up your socks because the figures might shock you.

The table given below shows the rank for All India Quota for the year 2018:

Although the opening and closing ranks vary each year depending upon the factors stated above but we can expect them to close nearby the previous year data.
