IIM Lucknow has wrapped up their final placement for the 2018-20 academic year with 100% placement rate. According to the batch profile for placement, 443 students received a total of 447 offers.

Amazon, Accenture, BCG, and Deloitte were the firms meeting the maximum no. of offers. The other top recruiters were Bain and Co, McKinsey & Co, Kearney, KPMG, GEP.

Mathematics and Computing at IIT(BHU) is a dual-degree program, which promises a bright career for students. The placements of Mathematics and Computing (MnC) are almost at par with that of Computer Science and Engineering. All students who sit for the placements are recruited within the first two days of the placement season. Exact statistics are not revealed to maintain the confidentiality of companies as well as students. However, the average CTC offered to students in IIT BHU varies each year, according to the placement highlights of 2019, it’s 8 LPA. • The placement of IIM Lucknow is quite good. But, there are cases of mentioning increased and inflated figures in data, and average salaries are used instead of median salaries.
• According to the newspapers, most of them get huge salary packages, which is not exactly true. 80% of the entire batch get good salary packages, while the bottom 20% struggle to get decent packages. This is the case across many B schools in India.
• There are several factors that matter in placement, which include the number of recruiters visiting the campus, the number of big brands and new brands, the average salary of top 100-200 students, etc.

So, no detailed reports are provided from IIM Lucknow regarding their placement. Detailed information is usually received from insiders like alumni and professors, without disclosure in identity.

Sinhgad College of Engineering, Punehas a Centralised Placement and Training Cell. The cell consists of a group of members that are dedicated to providing the students with the best recruitment opportunities. The cell is also responsible for the training of the students prior to the recruitment process. Practice interviews, group discussions, and aptitude tests are conducted by the cell to prepare the students for the recruitment process according to the current industry standards.

Highest package offered is 17 Lakh and the average package stands at 2.5Lakh, while the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Around 20% of students got placed in mechanical while others are placed in IT companies.

Tata is the top recruiting company with the highest salary package. The recruiting companies that visit the campus are Accenture, Ambuja Cement , Atos, Berger Paints, Bosch Ltd , CapGemini , Cybage , Emerson Electric , Flipkart ,GODREJ , HDFC Mutual Fund , Hexaware Technologies, to mention a few.

The placement of IIT Bhubaneswar has never disappointed its students. There has always been an increase in the number of companies who visited IIT Bhubaneswar over years for hiring mechanical engineers. In 2017 almost 83% of students got placement from Mechanical Engineering. 32 out of 35 of Mechanical Engineering students got placed on campus with a decent package. The average package offered at IIT Bhubaneswar in 2017 was 10.52 lacs/annum. While the highest foreign CTC and highest domestic CTC offered were 38 LPA and 21 LPA respectively. PSU’s like ISRO, IOCL, BPCL, NCCBM participated in the campus drive. A total of 41 companies visited the campus during the placement season 2017.

IIT Bhubaneswar is a budding institution. The institute now ranks 17th according to the NIRF rankings. The placement percentage for this institute is increasing every year. Famous companies like Maruti Suzuki, L&T ECC, and Belcan visit the college for the campus placements. In 2019, the placement rate of the mechanical department was around 83%. Whereas the average placement percentage for postgraduate courses was 69%. The highest package offered to a mechanical student at IIT BBS was 39 lacs per annum. The average offer was 11 lacs per annum. Mechanical Engineering at IIT BBS has had a constant placement rate with a sudden hike in 2018. More than 110 students were recruited from the 2019 batch. MTech students also got placed in renowned organizations such as Amazon, Microsoft, BHEL, DRDO, Hindalco Industries, NTPC, Aditya Birla Group, etc. last year.

AMET University is deemed to be a university and reputed for offering quality education in maritime studies across various disciplines.

AMET University Chennai has a placement rate of 60% in general. That of Naval Architecture is around 80%. Companies outside India and national companies visit the AMET University campus for placements, as it has collaborations with foreign universities as well, mostly situated in the UK.
