A
Admin Posted On : June 28th, 2024

Both NIT Warangal CSE and IIT Madras Civil are excellent academic institutions for students.

  • However, I think opting for IIT Madras is a better choice as IIT Madras is one of the oldest and top-ranking academic institutions in India.
  • It holds 1st rank in Engineering in the NIRF ranking.
  • The average course fee for Civil Engineering is INR 2.15 LPA for the first year and hostel fees are INR 35000.
  • IIT Madras is known for offering excellent placement opportunities to the students, which is no exception with the Civil Engineering Department.

How is UIT-RGPV in terms of academics?

AS
Arpita Sinha Posted On : July 14th, 2022
Studied at University Institute of Technology, RGPV

Compared to other technical institution in Bhopal and Indore, UIT RGPV fares well. The institute has a well-experienced faculty pool. Most professors are cooperative and friendly. Classes and examinations are scheduled regularly. You will have to do most of the studies yourself. The faculties and the college can only help guide you.

RGPV placements are good, especially for branches such as CS or IT. TCS, Infosys, Hexaware, etc. are some of the major recruiters that visit the campus placements regularly.

Why are majority of students at NIT Warangal not focused on getting a "full education"?

SS
Shivani Singh Posted On : September 6th, 2023
Studied at National Institute of Technology, Warangal (2019)

Most of the students opt for engineering to satisfy society and their families. And some of them select the course only to get placed in a big company with a high salary. This is the bitter reality for every engineering student. In our country, children are not given a chance to follow their passion; instead, they act as machines for the happiness of the family. This forces them to choose engineering, and finally, they end up jobless. This problem can be resolved only by giving proper career guidance to the parents.

I am getting mining engineering in nit raipur. Should I take it or drop a year?

SB
Subham Bajaj Posted On : September 9th, 2023
studied at National Institute of Technology, Raipur

Mining, Metallurgy and Mechanical are the oldest and best branches at NIT Raipur.

I can understand how motivated you feel right now. At this phase of your life, you must be confident that a year’s preparation will land you in a better place. Surely, this can happen with dedication and hardwork. However, many students fall into depression and anxiety a few months after taking a drop year. This affects their performance which can lead to lower scores in the second attempt.

I suggest you take admission into the Mining branch of NIT Raipur and prepare for your JEE Mains side by side. This will require time management and discipline from your side. But you’ll always have your ongoing degree to fall back to, in case things don’t work out. Rest assured that the Mining branch at NIT Raipur is a good option.

What are the chances of changing one's branch from production to CSE in BIT Mesra?

AB
Arun Biswas Posted On : August 9th, 2023
Studied at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra

BIT Mesra branch change procedure does not depend on the branch you are changing from. It depends on several other factors like

  • Number of vacant seats in each branch (maximum 4-5)
  • CGPA of people applying for branch change. The higher your CGPA, the more your preference will be considered.

Irrespective of whichever branch you belong to, your chances of changing your branch to CAE are the same as other students. All you need to do is score excellently in the 1st and 2nd semesters. You should at least target an 8.9 and above to be among the top 3-4 students. Scoring such a high CGPA is indeed very challenging.

However, you will spend a lot of time on branch change and end up missing a lot of fun activities so consider it only if you are serious about branch change.

What are the CAT score cut odds for IIM Ranchi PGDHRM?

SJ
Smeha Jain Posted On : January 19th, 2023
MBA in Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (Graduated 2019)

If you do not have work experience, you may want to reconsider applying to IIM Ranchi as there are very few freshers in the batch. Additionally, the cutoffs for admissions at the institute are unpredictable and can vary widely. Some applicants with very high percentile scores have been rejected, while others with lower scores have been accepted.

It is also worth noting that even applicants with strong work experience and percentile scores may not always be successful in receiving a call or being shortlisted. It is difficult to predict with certainty whether or not you will be accepted to the PGDHRM program.
