How is the campus life at IIT Roorkee?

- The workload is less in comparison to other IITs
- It organizes many fests and all the arrangements are made by the institute and the students themselves.

All in all, life at IIT Roorkee is filled with excitement, opportunities, and new experiences.
Is Neotia University good to take admissions?
I have a friend studying there and he is not happy about the facilities provided at the campus. Here is his insight.
- Washroom: No basic facilities are included which are required in a washroom.
- Food: Most of the students complain about an upset stomach because of the poor food facilities.
- Drinking-Water: The water purifiers do not work and they have not changed it yet. Since there is no water purifier, you will have to buy 20 liters of water for Rs. 60. The water given at the canteen is also pretty bad.
- Books: The institute claimed to provide books that were prescribed in the syllabus from the library. But in reality, my friend did not receive any such facilities. The librarian is not that cooperative and will be of little help in finding any book.
- Wi-Fi: The speed is slow and they have a limit of 4 GB per week.
- Gym: No facilities can be accessed at your choice. It depends upon the choice of the warden. If the warden says no to the gym, you might have to end up staying in your room.
- Playground: The playground is not maintained.
The institute will promise facilities like free Wi-Fi facilities, a gym, swimming pools, a library, and modern classrooms at the time of admission. But don’t blindly believe that. Talk to the current students, do your own research before you decide on joining.
How was the IIM Rohtak interview?
My friend once shared his interview experience at IIM Rohtak. He was a General Engineer Male with Acads:9.8/94.4/8.55 Cat: 94.4/71.55/98.5 Overall:96.8 profile.
It was an online interview and the panel comprised a male and a female who made it a very comfortable experience. Before the interview began, he was asked to display the CAT Score card and graduation certificate.
The strange part of the interview was that they did not ask any typical HR questions like an introduction, questions around why MBA, strengths or weaknesses. I have summarized the rest of the interview in points below
- He was asked to write on "Technologies impact on the job market" for which he was given 30 seconds to prepare.
- Owing to his Electrical Engineering background, he was asked about AC to DC rectifiers and digital devices.
- Keeping his Data Science work experience in mind he was inquired about his job role and questions about Supervised and unsupervised learning. They also asked questions about primary and secondary markets
- He was asked about his hobbies
- He was from Andhra Pradesh and they asked him about its current government scenario.
My friend was able to answer almost all the questions confidently and the interview ended within 10-12 minutes.
How good is IMT Hyderabad college for MBA?
My brother recently graduated from IMT Hyderabad and thoroughly enjoyed hai college life there which gave him a plethora of memories. IMT Hyderabad MBA is a highly regarded program and is comparable to other B Schools. Here are a few reasons why he chose it over other reputed B Schools in the country.
- The institute is located in a remote area away from the hustle and bustle of city life so you get to experience a peaceful college life
- IMT Hyderabad faculty pool is one of the best in the country and engravings the concepts in you so well that makes learning an interesting job.
- The accommodation facilities are also great and all basic amenities are provided to the students.
- The institute focuses on holistic development of its students so academics and extracurriculars are given equal importance.
- IMT Hyderabad offers the right platform to showcase your talents and skills to the recruiters but does not guarantee placements because it all depends on your performance in the interviews.
So bear in mind that no matter how good an institute is, your career and placements depend on your skills and performance. The institute just renders you a platform and does not guarantee the result.
How good is Techno India University?
There are a total 11 departments in the Techno India University. Some of them are school of engineering, school of science, school of pharmacy, school of law, and school of management. It has different branches of engineering including ECE, CSE, ME, CE and EE. The college has different student clubs for dance, music, quiz and debating society. The college provides an array of facilities like internship opportunities, industrial visits and training for placements. Following are details about Techno India University:

The Techno India University has good and cooperative faculty. The university has a stellar student to faculty ratio which is about 1:13. The university offers scope of research in different fields of engineering. It has also foreign collaboration with universities of the USA, UK, New Zealand and France for masters and graduation. The male to female ratio in university is 13:7 which is good as compared to other engineering colleges. For accommodation, universities provide both AC and Non AC hostels for both girls and boys. The infrastructure of the university is well satisfying.
What is the average and highest package for the EEE department in NIT, Trichy?
My friends had studied at NIT Trichy in CSE and EEE. The placements for both of these branches are top-notch.

How is the MBA program at Christ University Bangalore ?
Christ University doesn’t have a good faculty base for an MBA. The MBA coursework is constructed poorly. Throughout the course, students are under pressure to complete their CIA, assignments, etc. The scope for hands-on learning is limited.
It has a huge student intake. There are around 400 students in each batch. Christ University MBA placements are average at best. The 2022 placement concluded with the highest CTC of INR 20 LPA.
How was the placement of IIIT Una this year? Should I go for IIIT Una?
IIIT Una is one of the newer IIITs in India, established in 2015. Despite being a young institute, IIIT Una has made significant progress in establishing itself as a leading institution in engineering and technology. The institute offers several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in computer science, electronics, communication, and data science.
IIIT Una has a strong faculty team with extensive experience in academia and industry. The institute offers students the opportunity to work on research projects in collaboration with industry partners and research organizations.
In terms of placement opportunities, IIIT Una has an active placement cell that works towards providing its students with excellent career opportunities. The institute has had successful placement seasons in the past with many reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Which college is better for engineering, Sreenidhi or Vardhaman?
Vardhaman College of Engineering is a better option as compared to Sreenidhi. There are a few reasons for this.
- The college is known for its punctuality and demands the same of its students.
- If you are looking for quality education, Vardhaman College is better.
- Classroom appearance and placements are well developed as compared to Sreenidhi.
- However, with recent statistics, the highest package offered at Vardhaman is INR 12 lakhs per annum. The same at Sreenidhi is INR 14 lakhs per annum.
Lastly, as a student, there is better peer-to-peer interaction at Vardhaman College of Engineering. Eventually, it boils down to your choices as a student and what you are looking for in your college.
