Am I eligible for a government job after doing graduation from IGNOU distance education?
IGNOU is a reputable and accredited government distance learning university. It has been approved by both the UGC and the AICTE. So there is no doubt about the validity of IGNOU degrees now or in the future.
The second point to consider is Distance Education. Yes, degrees from open universities are not accepted for all types of jobs or vacancies. Approximately 10-15 years ago, the majority of government jobs required regular courses. This trend is currently changing.
IGNOU degrees are accepted in both cases. However, there are still very few government or private companies, such as TCS, that do not consider candidates from distance education. Because they are in short supply, you will have no trouble finding a job with an IGNOU degree. It also depends on the degree to some extent. Regular engineering or B.Ed degrees are still considered superior to distance degrees. Distance or regular mode courses such as BSc, Bcom, or BA are nearly equivalent.
In a nutshell, an IGNOU degree qualifies for the majority of government jobs.
How is life at Thapar University for 1st year students?
Based on what I heard from my friends at the institute I will say life in the first year at Thapar University is great.
Boys have hostel B, C, FRC, and H. If you are in hostel B or C you are gonna have a wonderful time throughout.
When it was my friend’s first year they used to roam on the campus. They used to put off studies for the reading week which is the week before exams for preparation. There are also many extracurricular activities in which you can take part during your first year.
Winters are extremely chilling with lots of fog so if you are from a place where there is no fog you will love it.
Apart from missing your home and the food of the mess, you will surely enjoy your first year.
How is NIT Raipur in terms of placements at present? Are good packages offered here?
The placement scenario at NIT Raipur is great for CSE/Circuit branches and average for all the other branches. NIT Raipur Placements 2022 wrapped up with 738 offers. The average package stood at INR 10.1 LPA while the maximum offers were received by the IT & Mechanical students. In all, 101 recruiters participated in the placements some of them being Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Adobe, Aditya Birla Group etc.

How do I get UHID from AIIMS hospital in Delhi?
To book an appointment at AIIMS New Delhi, you can avail of the Online Registration services using your Adhar Card. You will be required to make an online payment after which you will be notified of your confirmation message along with details of the doctor and time of appointment.
- Open this link http://patients.aiims.edu/ and click on New Patients without UHID.
- You will be directed to a page for Online Registration.
- To register you need to add your Adhar number.
If you are someone who does not have an Adhar number, you will have to collect an OPD card at the hospital counter on the date of appointment by paying the registration fee.
What percentage of students get placed in IET Lucknow for CS in the IT branch? How tough is it to get above a 6 lpa package?
Some of my friends are from IET Lucknow. According to them, the placements of the CSE and IT branches are really good. Almost all the students get placed. The placement percentage shall be around 80-90% in both CSE and IT departments.
The salary packages offered to the students may vary from company to company. Or a student’s overall performance could also determine the job role and the salary package offered.
Generally, out of 60 students in a batch, 7 to 8 students are placed with a package of more than INR 5-6 LPA.

Academics are extremely significant at IIM Bangalore. If your academics are in the 70-85 range, even if you scored 100% on the CAT, your chances of getting a call from IIM Bangalore are less than 1% because it considers and gives very heavy weightage for both the 10th and 12th marks.
Score good marks in your Secondary and senior secondary exams. Prepare thoroughly and meticulously so that you can ace the CAT; this will increase your chances of admission to a good IIM.

My friend recently passed out from MAKAUT and shared the strategy to score good marks here based on his experience. A few points to follow are
- Writings answers of Organizer will fetch you more marks than if you write someone else's answers.
- The answer sheet comprises 32 pages and the more pages you fill, the more marks you will be getting. In case you don't know and answer just write anything faintly related to it rather than leaving it unattempted.
- Make sure your handwriting is neat and beautiful. Highlight the important parts with a different ink to make it more appealing.
- Attempt all MCGs rather than just 10
- Never leave any answer blank always fill in the blank same and you will get a few marks for sure.
If you follow these tips sincerely, you might get an 8+ CGPA.
