VSSUT is much older. This makes it a bigger brand. But in terms of location, CET is a clear winner. VSSUT is located in the small town of Burla.

Burla has no direct air connectivity, and the fastest mode of transport is a 6 hour train journey from Bhubaneswar. Thus, top recruiters hesitate to visit the campus for placements.
