IIT’s are the best engineering institutes of the country and IIT Bhubaneshwar ranks at 22 among the engineering colleges in India according to the NIRF Ranking of 2020. In 2019 the CSE department at NIT Nagpur had the highest number of job offers, 78. The average package was around 7 LPA which stands below IIT Bhubaneshwar.

IGIT Sarang is one of the best government colleges in Orissa. It is also only one government college of Orissa that is eligible to submit an Institutional Development Proposal. The admission process for Electrical Engineering is based on the results of JEE Main and Orissa-JEE. 

The NIRF ranking of VSSUT University is 119 all over India. Likewise in IGIT Sarang, the admission process for Production Engineering and Metallurgy is based on the results of JEE.

VSSUT Burla

Both the universities are good choices for the above courses. Both courses have the same admission process among universities. The placement rate is quite better for IGIT Sarang than VSSUT Burla but if we talk about which one is affordable and has good quality teaching then VSSUT should be the choice.

The Electrical branch at Asansol Engineering College offers BTech and MTech programs under the aegis of R Sarkar with 18 years of experience in the teaching field. Similarly, over 75% of faculty members in the Electrical Engineering department at B.P. Poddar Institute of Management has more than 10 years of experience. • Candidates seeking admission to the B-Tech Degree at Asansol Engineering College should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

Both NIT Arunachal Pradesh and Burdwan University are reputed institutes and offer decent placement. Although the NIT tag offers certain advantages. As for which institute to choose you should decide that based on the various aspects mentioned above.

SVNIT and IIITDM are well-known institutes in India. Both institutes have been ranked by NIRF 2019 Rankings. SVNIT was ranked at58 while IIITDM Jabalpurat 75 among top colleges in India. Listed below are some factors to analyze both institutes:

SVNIT Surat

• To be eligible for admissions at SVNIT for B.Tech Electrical Engineering, the applicant must be passed 10+2 with PCM compulsory subjects and aggregate of minimum 50%. The candidate should be JEE Main qualified.
• For M.Tech Electrical Engineering, the candidate needs to be GATE qualified and have a B.Tech/ B.E degree with a minimum of 60% for the general category and 55% for the reserved category.

IIITDM Jabalpur

• For B.Tech CS admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur, the selection criteria are based on JEE Mains and the candidate should be passed with minimum 50% marks with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• For M.Tech, the selection criteria are the GATE score and the candidate must have a B.Tech degree with a minimum of 55% marks.

IIITDM Jabalpur

• The students graduating from 2020 batch has already received around 177 job offers which include 149 full-time offer and 28 pre-placement offers. 3 students from the CS department took the highest pay package of INR23 lakhs and 15 other students received offers close to paying packages of INR15-14 lakhs.
