NEET 2021 Question paper in the English language was prepared for 24 different codes. Other than that, NEET 2021 question paper was also prepared in 12 other languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, etc. It must be noted that the difficulty level, type of questions, and pattern of the paper were the same in all the paper codes.
- Physics was the most difficult section of the paper. The majority of questions were framed from Electrodynamics (20 Questions) and Mechanics (14 Questions).
- Chemistry was the easiest section of the paper. Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry had roughly equal weightage in the paper.
- The Biology sections- Zoology and Botany were average in difficulty. Dominant units in the sections were - Human physiology (12 Questions), and Genetics (11 Questions), and Plant Physiology (8 Questions).

As per test-takers NEET 2021 was moderately difficult with Physics section being the most difficult and tricky.
- NEET Chemistry section was moderate in terms of difficulty with Inorganic Chemistry having the maximum weightage.
- NEET Physics had more numerical-based questions than last year. Topics that had the maximum weightage were Electrostatistics, Electricity, and Mechanics.
- Questions asked in NEET Botany were easy-moderate with maximum questions being direct fact-based.
- NEET Zoology was rated moderate to tough.
