NEET Chemistry Exam Pattern 2023 is provided by the NTA. As per the revised NEET exam pattern, applicants will get 200 minutes to attempt the paper. NEET 2023 Chemistry paper will have 50 MCQs divided into 2 sections i.e. A and B. Check NEET Chemistry Syllabus 2023
Section A will have 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions. In section B, candidates will get the internal choice to attempt any 10 out of the 15 questions. Each question will be worth 4 marks. The total marks for NEET chemistry paper will be 180. Also, there will be negative marking to the extent of 25% for incorrect answers. NEET Mode of Examination: NEET 2023 will be conducted offline in pen and paper-based mode. During the time of the examination, candidates will be provided with a rough booklet.

NEET Chemistry Exam Pattern 2023: Marking Scheme
Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No mark will be rewarded for unattempted questions. Candidates are advised not to fill in more than one option in the OMR sheet. If they do so then that question will be considered incorrect and you will get negative marks.

- NEET Physical Chemistry: It’s the numerical section of NEET Chemistry.
- NEET Organic Chemistry: From this section, you must focus on memorizing the names of various compounds that constitute reagents, subtracts, etc.
- NEET Inorganic Chemistry: This section is considered the easiest section of NEET Chemistry.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- No Electronic device is allowed in the examination center.
- Strictly follow the dress code.
- It is advised to visit the center a day before the examination to confirm the location, distance, etc. of the center to avoid delay. It is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the center on time.
- No candidate whatsoever is the reason, shall be allowed entry in the examination center after 1.30 PM.
- Material to be brought on the day of examination (i) Valid Admit Card, (ii) Passport Size Photograph.
- Candidates shall be provided a Blue/Black ballpoint pen at the examination center to write particulars on the cover page of the Test Booklet & OMR sheet
- No candidate shall be allowed to use toilets in the last 30 minutes of examination.
- Candidate must preserve the Admit Card till the allotment of seat in College/Institution.

Ans. No. There is no sectional time limit. Candidates will be given 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete the paper and they can easily move from one section to another.
