NEET 2021 Question paper was attempted by 6.81 lakh male candidates and 8.63 lakh female candidates on September 12, 2021. Approximately 3.75 lakh male candidates and 4.84 Lakh female candidates were able to clear the exam by scoring the relevant NEET Cut off. NEET 2021 was tougher than the 2020 exam.
- The Physics section was tough. Electrodynamics was the major unit in the section with a total of 20 questions asked from it. It was closely followed by Mechanics with 14 Questions framed from it.
- The Chemistry section was moderate. The distribution of questions from Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry was roughly equal. 17 questions framed from Inorganic Chemistry, 17 questions from Organic Chemistry, and 16 questions from Physical Chemistry.
- The Botany section was moderate too. The dominant units in the paper were - Plant Physiology (8 Questions), and Genetics (5 Questions).
- The Zoology section was also moderate in difficulty. The dominant units in the paper were - Human physiology (12 Questions), and Genetics (6 Questions).
