NEET 2021 was taken by 1.6+ million candidates. The number of candidates had increased in 2021. To conduct the NEET exam smoothly, NTA (National Testing Agency) increased the number of cities and test centers. In 2021, NEET was conducted in 13 languages. To reduce the stress of students, NTA removed the Biology section and introduced the Zoology and Botany section as the replacements of the Biology section. There were a total of 200 questions, carrying 720 marks in total. The overall difficulty of questions was easy to moderate. The exam was conducted in Pen-paper mode.

NEET 2021 Bengali O6 Paper Analysis
NEET 2021 Bengali O6 was distributed between 4 sections. Each section was further distributed between Part A and Part B. Part A was the mandatory part, all the 35 questions in Part A were mandatory to attempt. Part B comprises 15 questions, carrying 40 marks. Students were instructed to attempt any 10 questions from Part B. The student would be rewarded each time by 4 marks upon attempting a correct MCQ. In case of a wrong answer, students would be entitled to pay 1 mark every time he/she made an incorrect choice. No markt would be deducted for the unattempted questions.

- There are a total of 3275 government MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) seats and nearly 800 private MBBS seats in West Bengal
- In West Bengal, there are 250 government and 300 private BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats
