NEET 2020 Question Paper was rated to be of moderate level of difficulty by the test takers. The exam was conducted in 11 languages across 155 cities of India. Approximately 59,200 candidates opted to take the exam in the Gujarati language, while 80,000 candidates registered from Gujarat. Around 36,500 (56.23%) Gujarati candidates qualified for the exam by scoring the required NEET Cut off.
Shoyeb Aftab (UR) achieved AIR Rank 1 in NEET 2020, followed by Akanksha Singh (UR) at AIR Rank 2. Following the conclusion of NEET 2020, NTA changed the exam pattern for the 2021 exam to include 4 sections (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) instead of 3 sections (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). The candidates were also given a choice to pick any 5 questions out of 10 questions in Part B of each section. NEET 2020: AIQ Opening & Closing Ranks for Top Medical Colleges
Only the candidates who had cleared NEET cut off were eligible for the counselling process. 15% of the seats (AIQ seats) were filled through MCC Counselling, and the remaining 85% of the seats were filled through the respective State Medical Counselling Process.
