NEET 2020 Question paper was rated to be moderate in terms of difficulty level by the test takers. NEET 2020 was conducted in 2 phases on September 13, 2020, and October 14, 2020, in 11 languages across 155 Cities of India. A total of 16.20 Lakh candidates registered for the exam, and about 13.8 Lakh candidates appeared for NEET 2020. Around 12.6 Lakh students (78%) opted to give exams in English for NEET 2020. According to NEET Paper Analysis, the easiest section of the paper was Physics with 30%-40% questions directly from the NCERT textbook of the subject.

On the other hand, Biology was the most difficult section of the exam with 2 questions out of the bounds of the NCERT Syllabus. The Chemistry and Zoology section were of moderate difficulty. NEET 2020 Results were declared on October 16,2020. Around 7.7 Lakh Candidates qualified for the 2020 exam by clearing the NEET cut off.

NEET 2020 Question Paper: Exam Pattern

NEET 2020 exam pattern consisted of three sections - Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology).

  • Physics had 45 Questions, Chemistry had 45 questions, and Biology had 90 Questions in the paper.
  • Each correct answer bestowed +4 marks to the students and each incorrect answer took away 1 mark.
  • Thus the candidate needed to attempt 180 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours) for a maximum mark of 720.
