How to Upload Photograph in IIT JAM Application Form?
Candidates are advised to upload only a good quality recent photograph. IIT JAM Score Card will be printed with the photograph you submit.
- The photograph must match with your appearance on the day of the examination.
- Do not wear spectacles with dark glasses
- Spectacles with only clear glass are permitted.
- Background of the photograph should be white in colour.
- Photograph should cover 50% of your face.
- Forehead, eyes, nose and chin should be clearly visible.

How to Upload Signature in IIT JAM Application Form?
- Signature with all CAPITAL LETTERS is not acceptable.
- Only Initials are not acceptable.
- Signature other than black or blue ink pen is not acceptable.
- Create the rectangle and sign under that box only.
- Scan your signature before uploading.

Important Specifications for IIT JAM 2022 Documents Upload
In the below section, some other important specifications regarding IIT JAM 2022 Documents Upload are mentioned.
- The photograph of the candidate should be taken in a professional studio and after August 1, 2020. Mobile phone uploaded photographs will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Coloured photograph must be uploaded and it should be taken against a white background. And the background must be illuminated.
- The size of the photograph must not exceed 200 KB and not less than 5 KB.
- Also, the resolution of the scanned signature should be in proper way and in JPEG format. It must be signed on a white paper with a black or dark blue ink pen
- The scanned signature should be done horizontally
- Signature with all capital letters and signed by other colours than black and blue will be strictly rejected.
- The resolution of the scanned signature must not be more than 100 KB and should be less than 5 KB.
