Candidates listed on the merit list can submit IIT JAM 2023 admission form by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 750 on the official JOAPS login- joaps.iitg.ac.in.
IIT Guwahati is going to release the admission list after every round of counselling. The list consists of the institution-wise opening and closing ranks separately for General, EWS, SC, ST, OBS, and PwD candidates. The direct link to the pdf is provided below after release.

IIT JAM CCMN 2023 is also going to commence tentatively by last week of April 2023, for admissions into NITs. What are CCMN and JOAPS Counselling?
Centralized Common Counselling for M.Sc. (CCMN) is a nationwide counselling process, conducted annually for entrance to admissions to Master’s programs in Science at NITs and CFTIs.CCMN Counselling is conducted online and a total of 22 institutes participate in it. It is to be remembered that CCMN Counselling 2023 is different from IIT JAM Counselling 2023. IIT JAM JOAPS 2023 Counselling Process
- Admission Form and Choice Filling & Locking: Qualified candidates must fill the admission form by paying INR 750 and fill in the choices of courses and colleges.
- Release of Admission List: IIT Guwahati releases the admission list after every round of counselling based on the choices filled and seat availability.
- Acceptance/Rejection of Seat: Candidates would be provided with three options to choose from: Accept & Freeze, Accept & Upgrade, and Reject & Quit. If a candidate is dissatisfied with his allocated seat, he/she may choose to reject & quit the admission process.
- Payment of Seat Booking Fee: Pay the seat booking fee of INR 10000 for GN/ GN-EWS/ OBC candidates and INR 5000 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
- Reporting at the institute: The final step in JAM 2023 JOAPS Counselling involves the candidate to report at the allotted institute for original document verification.

IIT JAM CCMN Eligibility Criteria 2023 for the participating institutes is as following:
- The candidate must have undertaken IIT JAM 2023 Examination
- Candidates must have cleared IIT JAM Cutoffs 2023 for the respective stream.
- Candidates must be a B.Sc graduate with 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate marks. SC/ST/PwD candidates are required to obtain 6.0 CGPA or 55 Percent Categories.
- Candidates in their final year of B.Sc are also eligible if they are able to complete the degree without any backlog in the current session only

IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023 Process
The steps involved in CCMN Counselling Process are as following:
- Registration,and Choice Locking: First and foremost, candidates should register for the exam, pay the registration fees and select colleges for admissions. Next, the candidate would be required to lock their choices before a specific date
- Seat Allotment: Based on the candidate’s score, IIT JAM Cutoffs, the number of candidates who have appeared for the exam, a seat would be allotted to the candidate. Candidates would have to submit a seat allocation fee (for first round only)
- Online Submission of Documents: The candidates would need to submit their documents (detailed in subsequent sections) for verification. The document submission and verification process would be online.
- Acceptance/Rejection of Seat: Candidates would be provided options to accept a seat or upgrade the seat. If a candidate is dissatisfied with his allocated seat, he/she may choose to reject the seat. There are several options available for the Acceptance/Withdrawal process, which are detailed in the section below.
- Reporting at the institute: The final step in CCMN Counselling involves the candidate to be physically present at the allotted institute for document verification. After the successful verification of the document, the candidate would be required t get himself enrolled at the institute.

IIT JAM CCMN 2023: Choice Locking
After the payment of CCMN 2023 Registration Fees, candidates would be required to lock their selected choices before the deadline for doing so.
- Before the deadline for CMN Choice Locking, candidates can add colleges, delete colleges, and switch priorities in their list of saved colleges.Candidates would be able to lock their choices anytime before the deadline for CCMN choice locking. However, no modification can be done to the list of college applied for after locking the choices
- In case the candidate does not lock choices before the deadline, the last list of colleges saved by him would be automatically located for the next counselling process.
IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023: Seat Allotment
Based on the candidate’s IIT JAM Results, cutoffs, the number of candidates who have appeared for the exam, a seat would be allotted to the candidate.
- For the first round of seat allotment, the candidate is mandated to submit a seat allocation fee/ CCMN Seat Acceptance Fee even if he is dissatisfied with the allotted seat.
- A separate CCMN Seat Allotment List would be published after every round, mentioning the candidates roll number, name and the seat allotted to him/her/them/they

IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023: Types of Options Available
Candidates would be required to either accept their CCMN 2023 Allocated Seat or to reject it. If the candidate accepts the seat by exercising Freeze, Float, Slide options, he/she shall have to pay the balance fees (after seat acceptance/allotment fees) for the academic session of the allotted institute.The balance fees can be paid online at CCMN portal.

IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023: Seat Rejection Options Available
If the candidate is not satisfied with CCMN Seat Allotted to him, he can opt for ‘Surrender and Participate in next round’. Under this option the candidate will be considered for the next counselling round, but his/her claim on the current seat would be dissolved. In case he is not allotted a seat in the next round, he would not be eligible to take admissions on the formerly CCMN Alloted Seat. Such candidates have to participate in the Vacant Seat Round (CCMN 2023 Spot Round) for getting a seat for admissions.
IIT JAM CCMN Counselling 2023: Withdrawal of Application
If a candidate wants to withdraw from IIT JAM CCMN 2023 Counselling process itself, he/she can do so by opting for ‘withdrawal of application form’.
- If the candidate chooses to withdraw the counselling application, he would not be able to participate in any round of IIT JAM 2023 Counselling,and the seat allotted to him in the current round will be reassigned to another candidate.
- CCMN 2023 Seat Acceptance Fees/ Seat Allocation Fees would be refunded to the candidate. However, IIT JAM CCMN Counselling Fees would not be refunded to the candidate
