CAT 2020 Slot 1 conducted on November 29, 2020, was rated moderate to difficult in terms of overall difficulty. CAT 2020 VARC Slot 1 section was rated the most difficult while Quant and DILR sections were comparatively easier. VARC section contained 26 questions in total, including four RC passages. CAT 2020 Slot 1 was conducted between 8.30 am to 10:30 am. The slot was reported moderate to difficult in terms of overall difficulty level.

• VARC section was the most tricky and time-consuming.
• VARC contained 26 questions. Out of these, 18 were RC questions.
• These were 18 Questions distributed across 4 Reading Comprehension Passages
• The first RC was on - Currency in The Tang Empire, the second on - Elephant Seal Migration, the third on - The Importance of Grammar, the final one was on- Subsets of Anarchist philosophy
• A total of 3 Para Jumble MCQs were asked in the section along with 8 MCQs on Verbal Ability.
