CAT Registration Fees 2022: IIM Bangalore has started CAT 2022 Registration process on August 3, 2022. IIM Banglore has increased CAT Registration Fee 2022. GN/ EWS/ NC-OBC candidates have to pay INR 2300 and SC/ST/PwD candidates have to pay INR 1150 to apply for the exam. CAT registration fee can be paid via Debit Card. Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or online wallets. Other than CAT registration fees, there is no additional processing fee for making online fee payment.
Payment of CAT Registration Fees is the last step in filling the application form. CAT 2022 Registration is considered incomplete without the payment of the application fees. After completing the online payment process, candidates can check the status of CAT Registration fees paid by them on the official website- iimcat.ac.in.
CAT Form Correction 2022 will be open for 3-4 days after the last date of registration. IIM might also charge an additional CAT Fees during the time of CAT 2022 Form Correction depending upon the type of edits a candidate wishes to do in his application form.

How to Pay CAT Registration Fee 2022?
First of all, candidates will be required to register and fill the online application form of CAT.
- Step 1: Register on the official website - Visit the official website of CAT and mention your email id, phone number, and date of birth.
- Step 2: Fill CAT Application Form - Mention your personal details, contact information, academic details, work experience, program preference and exam center preference at this stage
- Step 3: Upload Scanned Documents - Scan and Upload your documents (Photograph, Signatures & Required certificated) according to CAT Photo Size, Dimension, Format and Other Details
- Step 4: Payment of Application Fee - CAT 2022 Application Fee can be paid online via net banking/credit card/debit card.

- Select the desired payment method from the list.
- Go to the declaration box and Select I Agree.
- Click on the Submit and Pay button option.
- You will be redirected to the payment gateway for final transaction.
- Enter payment details as per your preference in the boxes.
- After successful payment candidates will receive a transaction number that should be noted down.
- Once the CAT Registration Process is complete, a confirmation email from CAT authorities stating that your application is submitted successfully.

After the successful transaction of your payment, a Payment Successful message will be displayed on the screen along with the Payment Transaction Number. You will then be redirected to the CAT Official website.
Instructions for Online Payment of CAT Exam Fees
While making CAT registration fee via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking, candidates need to:
- Cross Check the validity of the Debit/ Credit Card and keep it ready with them while logging on to the website for submitting the application form. Candidates should enter the information asked for and make payment through Debit/ Credit Card.
- Through Net Banking, candidates should check the minimum balance in their account and keep all credentials ready with them while logging on to the website for submitting the application form. Candidate should Login with his/her credentials of net banking and make payment through Net Banking.

- It is mandatory for the candidates to fill all the fields marked “*” during CAT 2022 registration
- No spelling mistakes should be made as some fields cannot be edited after registration.
- Since CAT form can be filled in multiple sessions, it is important to save after every session to avoid losing the information already entered

CAT Exam Fees Over the Years
Increase in CAT Application Fees over the years has been mentioned below:
- For 2022, CAT registration fee has been increased from INR 2200 to INR 2300 and from INR 1100 to INR 1150 respectively.
- In 2021, CAT Registration Fees was increased from INR 2000 to INR 2200 for GN category and from INR 1000 to INR 1100 for SC/ST/PwD.
- The registration fee for CAT exam witnessed a rise in 2018 when the application fee was increased from INR 1800 to INR 1900 for General candidates and whereas for SC/ST/PwD candidates the fee was increased from INR 900 to INR 950.
- Furthermore, new fee payment methods like PayTM and BillDesk were added to the list.
