Having an academic experience of around 21 years and corporate experience of around 10 years, he is a Doctorate in Social Work and a Postgraduate in Business Administration. Playing a significant role in Institutional building, he has a proficient profile of working as Admissions Officer, Professor and Director of MBA, Professor - Academics, Student Affairs, International Academic Affairs and Curriculum Development. He also served as a HR Executive, HR Manager and Management Consultant for renowned organizations in Chennai.

How do you strategize the key plans for the administration of your college?

All stakeholders of our Institution are collectively involved in foreseeing our vision and in creating a mission statement, to achieve the same, within a fixed time frame, with long term and short term objectives. They are assigned with accountability and responsibility, which is mutually agreed upon, through an MBO model, using PERT and CPM Techniques. How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects?

“Direct industrial integration activities”

The Industry – Institute Interaction Cell solely works towards signing of MOU’s with industrial establishments, arranging mini and major projects and funded projects, either through funding agencies or industries. In addition, we ensure the participation of students of relevant disciplines, under the headship of Department and Subject Professors, giving students a practical approach towards subjects, which are offered in their course of study.

How does your College prepare students for Placements?

“Regular and advanced pre-placement practices”

The process of preparing the students for placement begins on the first day one, the student steps into the college. Placement Readiness Workshops including Student Presentations, Debates, Seminars, Conferences, Symposia, Group Discussions, Preparation of Resume, Mock Interviews, Aptitude Tests, Enhancement of Oral and Written Communication Exercises are carried out. Preparation of the students for their final placements by creating a time bound schedule of activities, under the close supervision of the assigned mentors and with external experts from the Industry make the students employment ready.

Improving the Multi – Tasking and Adaptability Skills, Listening and Learning Aptitude, and Understanding and Dealing with people’s behavior, are important nowadays.
