What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector? 

“To be able to guide the students in the right direction keeps me connected with the sector”

As an academician, it has been a fantastic experience for me both as a teacher and administrator. Teaching has always been my passion that allows us to shape the careers of students. It provides us with a lot of self-satisfaction when our students become successful and responsible citizens contributing to the country's growth. The key factors which connect me with the education sector is an opportunity for continuous learning, upgrading skills and most important is connectivity with young, bright, and enthusiastic students 

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“I am fortunate to have a good team of teaching and non-teaching staff at my college”

A leader should have the right approach and believe in his team. He/She always guides, inspires, and motivates his teammates. I still believe in teamwork, where equal contribution comes from everyone. I step in my colleague's shoes to identify the hindrances and difficulties faced by them during the work's execution. 

Despite my admirative work, I still take classes at least one subject per semester to share the knowledge gained by my experience, to connect with students, and how the faculty are involved in all procedures and systems implementation. Our teamwork has helped the institution to get prestigious accreditations like ISO, NBA, and many more.

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“We have a devoted team which works towards marketing and analyzing the latest trends” 

Apart from regular classroom teaching, our institute organizes many skill development programs and seminars and workshops on various topics concerning the latest technologies. Our training and development team (R & D team) coordinates with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college to design and plan the programs that would cater to the industry's needs. As the Matrusri education society sponsors the college, we don't do much marketing for our college. Our students and their parents are sufficient to spread the features of the college and the contribution from management, faculty, and staff for their assistance.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are? What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years? 

“Sometimes the unprecedented phase lets you explore new possibilities and opportunities”

All of us know that these are unprecedented times and how this pandemic situation has affected the educational system and taught us new things. As an optimist, I think it’s time to explore new ways of teaching-learning processes and identify the gaps between the industry and academia and introduce job-ready courses. I hope that as a top university, Osmania will take the lead in this regard. 

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“One needs to keep moving forward with a positive mindset during these difficult times”

The youth of this great country need to update and upgrade their technical skills and come up with new ideas to set up start-up companies to generate employment. In association with the alumni association of the college, the career guidance and placement department has played a vital role in conducting training and awareness programs on higher education.
