Harshit Singh Admission Experience

Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Harshit Singh: “General (No reservation).”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Harshit Singh: “GD was offline, there were around 9 members. 2 moderators were present. 2 minutes were officially given to think, but I think it started around 1.5 minutes. It was an aggressive GD, where one had to snatch his chance to speak. The one who starts, sets the tone of the GD, so my approach was to start the GD, but in case I don’t, then go exactly opposite to the one who starts, and start speaking, wherever he takes. It was a small 5 minutes GD.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Harshit Singh: “It was an abstract topic.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Harshit Singh: “My strategy for abstract GD used to be that, listen to the others keenly, and jump in with your thoughts.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Harshit Singh: “There were around 4 Panels, and each panel had 2 people. Offline - Face to face interview, Duration - 30 minutes. It was a general interview, not a stressful one.”

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted.

Harshit Singh: “1- Placement

2- Better Faculty

3 - Campus and Infrastructure.”

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges? (if any)

Harshit Singh: “IRMA - during the interview they asked me if I can do something distantly related to my works, I said a straight no as the answer, I think that didn’t go well, and they were looking for an answer like - I will learn and do it, I will try, etc.”
