TAPMI CAT Cutoff usually remains around 95%. TAPMI accepts Admission based on Entrance Examination Scores followed by Personal Interview. TAPMI considers Entrance Exam Scores, Work Experience, Statement of Purpose (SoP), Academic Scores, Extra-curricular Achievements, English Proficiency Test (EPT), Moderated Group Discussions (MGD) and a Personal Interview (PI).

TAPMI gives the maximum weightage to (40%) Group Discussion / Personal Interview, followed by (35%) to Entrance Exam scores for Final Selection. For experienced candidates, a minimum of 85% on CAT and XAT is required and a GMAT score of 630 is considered.

Ques. Which entrance exams are accepted by TAPMI Manipal for admission to the PGDM programme?

Ans. For admission into TAPMI PGDM course, domestic and CIGW candidates are admitted through CAT/XAT/GMAT scores. PIO/ Foreigne applicants are required to take the GMAT test. However, Foreign Nationals/ PIO are required to appear in the English Proficiency Test (EPT).

Ques. Can I get TAPMI at 80 percentile?

Ans. With an 80 percentile score in CAT and good academic profile, you stand a very fair chance of a call from TAPMI. Also, if your PI round is fairly decent, you have a high chance of conversion too.

Ques. What is the GMAT score required for the TAPMI PGDM Program?

Ans. Applicants with less than 20 months of work experience, the minimum GMAT score required to qualify for TAPMI PGDM Admission is around 630 whereas that of CAT and XAT percentile required is 85.

Ques. Does TAPMI give any extra weightage to female candidates for its admission shortlist?

Ans. Yes, a weightage of 5 upon the 100 point scale is offered to the female candidates. The weightage criteria is especially based on Gender Diversity and extra-curricular activities.
