Anish Das: “General (No reservation).”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Anish Das: “GD/PI process is pretty normal at ICFAI Business School (IBS Hyderabad). There was an eight-member team. Each of the members gets the chance to speak. You will be given 2-3 minutes to think about the topic and jot down relevant points. The GD topics are mostly from current affairs. There were two moderators conducting the entire GD session.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Anish Das: “Should E vehicles be implemented in India?.” 

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively? 

Anish Das: “The answer was pretty straightforward. I was the second person to speak for the GD and I spoke about the importance of E Vehicles and how that can bring change in Indian transport mitigating pollution.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Anish Das: “I was in the 3rd panel and there were 2 members. The entire interview was conducted offline. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride. The interview was for 15 minutes mostly. It was a moderate one with a few tricky questions. The Mantra for cracking the B School interview is to believe in yourself, be confident, and justify each and every point you mentioned in your CV.”

Anish Das: “1: Tell me about yourself?

Ans: Basic family & educational background, discussed hobbies and work experience, my future aspirations.

2: What have you done in the final year project of your College?

Ans: Discussed the topic of the project in short, tools used, and what was the implications.

3: What was your role as a Test Analyst?

Ans: Briefly discussed the roles and responsibilities and work profile.

4: Your favorite sport and why?

Ans: In my case it was Football, so discussed my favorite club and my inclination towards this game.

5: Why do you want to join IBS?

Ans: Perks of joining IBS, the teaching pedagogy, the placement scenario, and the kind of exposure-these points I highlighted."
