You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Constant learning and current trends upskilling connects me with the education sector”

The main factor that keeps me connected with the education sector is constant learning and having to upskill for the current trends.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University of Management?

“Deliver all international standard education for pupils in our campus”

Our Indian education system has conquered a strong position in the international circuit. India is a popular destination for higher education amongst foreign students as the country has an unparalleled variety of academic courses. There are universities focusing on the study of medicine, arts and language, journalism, social work, business, commerce, planning, architecture, engineering, and other specialized studies. What do you think your roles and responsibilities are to the University and students?

“Focus on areas of boundaries of knowledge and work is my primary responsibility”

All education is about developing learning and inquiry. We focus upon areas at the boundaries of knowledge and work to refine those methods of reasoning and understanding. It helps us to push back those boundaries, students and staff do this both together or independently of each other.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“To expand our educational offerings, work and family lives is our top priority”

We need to use technology to expand our educational offerings to be less expensive, to work around people and family lives. It helps to reach people who are not fortunate enough to live in an area where they have access to top scholars and top universities.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your university?

“Talk to students, know their story and set them up for success”

We try to know students' stories and talk to them in and outside of class. We explicitly value the child over the content, play games and set them up for success. Our campus assumes the best in every student, interview the student and let students interview you.
