What are your obligations and responsibilities as the HOD in regards to the students?

Regularly runs all classes in accordance with the timetable, and all students are made aware of the need to attend all classes for their respective subjects. Suggests that each paper's syllabus be covered in accordance with university requirements.

How do you typically develop healthy relationships with students and faculty?

I have established a transparent and trustworthy communication environment in my college so that students can share their problems and academic queries with us without any hesitation. 

How do you attempt to infuse subjects with a practical approach and make them industry-focused?

To bring a practical approach to studies and make them industry-focused, we begin by encouraging students to engage in project and design competitions, which will increase their knowledge of practical concepts.

How do you strategize the curriculum, and how often is it revised so that it is appropriate for the students?

We introduce best practices to provide students with relevant exposure. It is helpful to remember, when building a curriculum, that it is not about writing the finest lesson plans or developing the ideal set of in-class projects and tasks. Instead, it is about satisfying the students' needs in a manner that ensures the material is comprehended, retained, and utilized outside of the classroom.

What are your thoughts on the placements and higher education of your department's students?

After completing a practicum, students report greater levels of confidence, particularly in regards to applying for jobs post graduation and feeling confident in their abilities to obtain employment.

We will receive more opportunities and fresh ideas if we work with students in the real world and encourage them to experiment with current concerns and challenges, which will help them mature and provide us with additional opportunities.
