University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) is Rajasthan's oldest Institution of higher education established in 1947. UNIRAJ is accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A+’ grade and is awarded the status of "University with Potential for Excellence" by the UGC. The central campus of UNIRAJ is spread over 338.14 acres in the city of Jaipur. The university has a total of 26,883 students and 711 faculty members, making the student-to-faculty ratio at UNIRAJ 37:1.

UNIRAJ Student Diversification
Known as the hub of Higher Education in Rajasthan, UNIRAJ welcomes students from all over Rajasthan and other parts of India and also from abroad. UNIRAJ Admission Process
UNIRAJ admission process usually starts in June and lasts till July, each year. Application Forms for UNIRAJ admissions are released online on the official website at uniraj.ac.in. Admissions to the majority of courses are based on merit, while PG admissions are based on scores obtained in the UNIRAJ Admission Test (URAT-PG). For PG admissions 70% weightage is given to URAT PG scores and 30% to marks secured in the qualifying examination. For admission to courses such as MBA, BALLB, LLB, and PhD, UNIRAJ conducts PIM-MAT, RULET, ULET, and MPAT entrance exams respectively.
For the final selection, UNIRAJ releases a cutoff or merit list for each program. Candidates listed in the merit list or who secure minimum cutoff marks released by the university are offered admission after paying the admission fee and submitting the required documents.

Ques. What is the minimum attendance requirement at UNIRAJ?
Ans. To appear for annual or sem exams of the University of Rajasthan, a certain percentage of attendance is held mandatory by the university. Students who wish to be eligible for their exams are required to have 75% attendance in a semester. In case the attendance requirement is not met, students will not be permitted to appear for their exams.
Ques. What is group insurance at University of Rajasthan?
Ans. The University of Rajasthan offers a group insurance policy which is mandatory for all the students. Amount of INR 100 is collected from the students as group insurance fee. Ans. The University of Rajasthan offers several one-year PG diploma courses. These include PG Diploma in cost and work accountancy, cooperation, criminology, computer accounting and auditing, environmental law, remote sensing, European studies, labour law, etc. The eligibility for these courses is to have a bachelor's degree from a recognised board/university.

Ans. The University of Rajasthan has a central library building near the main gate of the university.
