You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

"When I'm teaching, I forget about everything and concentrate solely on the lesson plan and preparation. because I always wanted to offer 100% of what I promised when teaching"

All of my parents and my brother have been teachers for more than 15 years. However, I stumbled into teaching. My students are my inspiration. I'm a last-bench student, yet I expect the best from my students. Only teaching is listed in my job description..


Being a HOD what are the roles and responsibilities towards the students

"Another one of my jobs and responsibilities is to make plans for all of the department's operations"

As the department head, one of my jobs and obligations is to line up the staff members and students in a straight line without displaying any favouritism. As the head, it is my responsibility to look after the students when they are on the college campus, which includes keeping the records of the staff, my roles, and the students.


What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

"I may state that punctuality is my primary leadership quality because I never got late behind schedule in any industry"

I expect the same level of punctuality from students and employees, and I also push my faculties to do the same. When I say being on time, I don't just mean for the time; I also mean for studying, teaching, and preparations.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry-oriented

"Our college background is in the industry, the college had experience in the industry running for 13 years Weekly industrial programmes, and department programs also we are conducting for practical knowledge"

With the assistance of our industry, the mech civil department will be handled by the industry. All seminars will work to develop the fundamentals. Basics are necessary. Each and all students learn the basics first. The students are being challenged technically where 60% theory; 30% application oriented practical based. We have model-based instruction, and we also conduct projects seminars and hackathon programs to develop practical knowledge.


How does your college prepare students for placements?

"The students will be trained by our industry professionals. We also send students to off-campus placement drives in addition to our industry"

Our institutions have a collection of 13 industry-focused enterprises, including departments of mechanical and electronics. Our companies will help students to find jobs and receive training for positions that are industry-oriented. We do offer separate sessions where students receive placement training in preparation for placement drives.


What are the challenges you faced/ are facing to uplift the quality of education at your college?

Everyone here is from a rural background; thus, every student is good and follows all the directions, making them good students. KCT and Krishna College have some understandable students, but their activity will alter. When we attend classes or conduct practical sessions, the majority of the students speak Tamil, so it might be quite challenging.


When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

"As of now, I work as This is my college. I work hard, and I'll continue to do so while I'm employed here"

 I think my colleagues and students should do the same. I won't set up a vision wherever I go because I want to just go with the flow. After all, teaching is like a god that helps me develop personally and professionally.

How does the department/college enhance the skills of the faculty and prepare them according to industry standards?

"I used to read for three hours each day even if it was for the same topics. I had experience in this same department but have still been preparing the same topics for ten years without hesitation"

I'm also getting ready for the best delivery. To improve my talents, I used to watch videos on YouTube every night before sleeping. Because students don't know anything, so we have to teach them properly even I implement the same for my staff and I will use the same strategy for other faculty members. In addition to our self-improvement, we also participate in faculty development programmes. The principal and management will support both staff and students in the skill development programme through planned and executed college workshops, seminars, and research.


What valuable advice would you like to give the students for they to have a prosperous career ahead?

"Nobody has any real knowledge. Even students should adhere to this rule. Should be aware of family history and backgrounds then students will learn properly"

Students must have subject-oriented knowledge. If these 4 years should be successful, followed by 40 successful years. If they play for these 4 years then they can face badly followed by the next 40 years. Deciphering requires maturity. End of the day Staff success is based on student success.
