What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Education is the manifestation of divine perfection already in man”

I belong to an educationist family of many generations; hence it came naturally to me. What kept me connected throughout is that I find it highly fulfilling and rewarding to make my students succeed in their academic and then practical lives. Putting a smile of confidence and success on the student's lips is the most beautiful thing. I also strongly believe in Vivekananda's maxim that Education is the manifestation of divine perfection already in man. I feel all educators should strongly believe and work on the above adage.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Our Group is committed to providing quality professional education”

We ensure a strong educational foundation through high-quality schooling from our LCIT Public School. Strong leadership is essential for any successful organization and business of our Group. The LCIT Group of Institutions is fortunate to be guided by successful business as well as education leaders. Our mentors work as facilitators, where I see my role as a leader focusing on solutions and opportunities. It is my firm belief that every challenge presents multiple possibilities, and therefore, I always feel enthusiastic about challenges. I have experienced that cohesive and robust team making and then keeping them inspired to reach new heights is my primary role. I am always eternally optimistic and generally do not get dissuaded from my objective easily. I focus on my staff and students' innate potential so that together the organization and the students can be more successful in their work. Our Group is committed to providing quality professional education like Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Law Science, and Commerce for society's larger good.

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“We are a multidisciplinary campus with premier facilities”

Being the Director of LCIT Group of Institutions, I find it very heartening that our campus is already a multidisciplinary campus. We are successfully running the College of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Science, Arts, and Law. Our Group is also running a higher secondary public school. Our Group believes that quality speaks for itself; therefore, we do not treat education as a business. Thus, the marketing and branding of Institutions are generally not given the priority as a business house in our Group. We only make efforts to let the general public know about the strength of our institutions. Being connected with our promoter group's wide-ranging industrial activities, we offer excellent training and employment opportunities to our students.

“We strive to provide the latest trends in the respective study subjects by a frequent field visit to the various industrial and commercial leaders such as SECL, NTPC, BALCO, etc.”

Any insights into how your Institute could be more welcoming to students of different races, religions, states or economic backgrounds?

“We believe diversity brings more learning”

We do not discriminate against the students on any myopic lenses of caste, religion, creed, or economic background. We have even tried to keep all our programs in the affordable range for prospective students. We are also about to start a scheme with the help of NBFCs to provide financial assistance to the parents so that no bright student should be deprived of his right to quality education.

What was your vision for the college? Has it evolved over time, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

“My vision to become an institute par excellence will soon come true”

I find myself positively charged at trying to change the scenario in Bilaspur and CG. We need real development where the State should provide finished products and services, and it should remain content to be a raw material supplier. I am sure that my vision for the same will become a reality in the foreseeable time.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Students should continuously strive for their dreams”

I want to advise the Bilaspur and nation youth that the passion for the best in your life should be your mool-mantra. The history has been a testimony to the fact that the Veer-Bhogya Vasundhara. That means the fruits are not going to be bestowed spontaneously but shall be awarded only to the willing man. Thus never take a shortcut in life and be ready to accept, work, and promote the only best quality in whatever you do.
