Lakhmi Chand Institute of Technology (LCIT), Bilaspur Admissions 2024: Courses, Fees Structure, Placement

Lakhmi Chand Institute of Technology (LCIT) offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and BE Lateral in various specializations such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.  

C.G. Government has stipulated the following quota during the time of admission:

• Chhattisgarh Quota (Through PET) - 75% of the total seats.
• All India Quota (Through JEE Main) - 10% of the total seats.
• Management Quota - 15% of the total seats.

For C.G. domiciled seats, general category students must obtain 45% marks & reserved quota students must obtain 40% marks General students must obtain at least 15 marks and reserved category students must obtain 7.5 marks in PET examination.

Students clearing B.Sc. examination or Diploma holders securing 60% or more marks are eligible for admission in BE Lateral. However, the selection is done on the basis of merit.

• The duration for each of the specializations is four years for BE Programme
• In case of BE Lateral entry, the duration is three years.

For admission in BE, the candidates need to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE). The eligible candidates may also appear in Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Board (CG PET) conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB).

At postgraduate level, Lakhmi Chand Institute of Technology offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) in various specializations such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Production & Operation Management and Systems.

• All the specializations are offered for a duration period of two years.
• Admission in MBA is done on the basis of marks scored in the Graduation level.
