- This one-year Master’s program is taught in English. It aims to give the student the skills they need to analyze and solve key transport and supply chain problems that modern businesses face. The student will not only discuss the latest tools and techniques in the field, but they will also use these to solve real-life cases from different industries.
- During the program, students will learn how to use mathematical models to optimize processes and create sustainable value throughout the supply chain. Students will uncover the keys to modeling and development, and to supporting their decisions with facts. Students will become familiar with Excel, R, and other data analysis tools commonly used in the industry.
- Unlike any other program, this Master’s at VU Amsterdam combines Transport Economics and Supply Chain Management into a single degree, giving students a 360-degree view of their field of study. From the supply chain decisions of a single company to the policies and regulations that shape the entire industry, students will understand how it all works, and how to make it all work to their advantage. Students will be in high demand for jobs since they have a better understanding of how all the pieces fit together.
