Chemical engineering in TU Delft is pretty tough. It is pretty difficult to score here and we need to take a lot more courses than we typically do for an MS in US. Thesis is compulsory. we have to do 8-10 months of thesis work which is quite rigorous.

The program itself is a very new study at the TU Delft and this automatically makes the syllabus quite updated. The courses and exams are quite challenging and require you to be regular with your self study and assignment submissions in order to keep your head above the water. Bachelor's students are given research experience at the end of their third year as part of the bachelor end project. This carries credit and is compulsory and an essential part in completing the study.
Ranking within top 100 in the world, high research output, good professors who did PhD and post-docs in reputed colleges, including ivy league colleges, affordable education, competitive environment, international-friendly place to live in, no language barrier, large indian community, BSA requirement which increases the standard of education, courses taught in english, offers a challenging honours program in the second year and minor abroad opportunity in the third year for students with good study progress, courses are challenging and not a cake-walk
Technical universities such as mine focus more on research and little on-field applications. It was a different but extremely useful learning. More fundamental research and in-depth scientific concepts were understood better with laboratory practice in addition to classroom teaching. We involve in academic membership which is completely different from what is found in India. We get to talk to the professionals ourselves and build contacts in the professional environment outside the university.
Lastly, the total fees for tuition and stay per year would be 30,000 euros per year. It is 18,000 for tuition and 12000 for stay and other expenses. Other expenses can change according to the lifestyle you wish to choose. (From 8500 euros/yr to 12000/yr)
The curriculum is up-to-date. The assignments are based on real-life data and projects, which the professors / academic staff are working on. It gives you a good glimpse of industry work and helps you gain confidence in working on real-life projects. There's also a compulsory internship component, in which you work at a company for a few months. Really good experience for those with zero industry experience. Also, you have the opportunity to work at any company in the world! Finally, a major portion of the degree is the master thesis. This project lasts for about 9 months usually, and you get to do research under the guidance of university professor and/or industry. There are also opportunities to get published and present at conferences.
The tuition fee was about 16000 euros per year. It usually takes two years to complete the degree.
