The Bachelor's in Political Science is a three-year program of 180 ECTS credits. The program is fully taught in English, supplemented by Dutch-language tutorial groups and elective courses for those who so wish.
The first year is an overview of the field of politics. Students encounter key concepts such as conflict, cooperation, interests, and power, as well as the big questions that political scientists ask about current societal trends and the political systems which we observe worldwide.
In the second year, students choose their specialization from one of the following fields: International Relations, Public Policy, and Governance, Comparative Politics or Political Theory.
The final year provides yet more opportunity for specialization through the choice of electives, covering practically all issues and regions in the world.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should have a high school degree from a recognized institution;
Students should have at least 3.0-grade points.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

High school transcripts of Indian central, state, or leading deemed and private schools.
Applicants must have achieved a minimum cumulative 1st division or better in their studies.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, tests required to study in the Netherlands, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
