What is the new update of MHT CET 2023?
All MHT CET 2023 new updates are updated here. CET Cell is going to release MHT CET form soon on the official website mhtcet2023.mahacet.org 2023. To streamline the admission process, the state has proposed a few changes in MHT CET starting from 2023. According to reports,
- MHT CET 2023 might be held multiple times allowing candidates to better their scores.
- From 2023, admissions to engineering/pharmacy colleges might be based on both Class 12th and MHT CET scores. The State Cell is going to give 50% weightage to Class 12th scores and 50% to MHT CET scores.
- The State Cell is also in talks to scrap the minimum cut off requirement for MHT CET exam.
- The State Cell is also in talks to conduct the exam a little early so that the results can be announced by July 1 followed by the start of the academic year by September 1.
However, all these details can be confirmed only after an official release from CET Cell, Maharastra.
MHT CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the application form, candidates should understand whether they are eligible for the exam or not. Detailed eligibility criteria for the same is given below:
- Nationality: Candidates should be Indian nationals.
- Age limit: There is no age limit of candidates.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics if they want to apply for the Engineering exam and Physics.
