MAH CET Exam Day Guidelines 2023

There are certain rules and regulations that must be strictly followed by the candidates appearing for MAH CET 2023 exam. Tabulated below are the important MAH CET exam day guidelines which every candidate must abide by to ensure a smooth conclusion of the exam.

Don’t forget to carry your MAH CET Admit Card 2023 Candidates will not be allowed to take the exam if they do not have a printout of their MAH CET Admit Card with them. This is the most important MAH CET exam day guideline for all candidates
Carry Valid Photo ID proof It is essential for the verification of the candidate and is required for all exams including MAH CET 2023. Candidates will be barred from entering the exam hall without valid ID proof.
Follow the Reporting Schedule MAH CET Admit Card 2023 will mention your reporting time for the exam day. Candidates must abide by the time schedule mentioned on the admit card as they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after the lapse of the prescribed time under any circumstances.
Avoid all forms of Cheating MAH CET 2023 will be conducted under the supervision of designated invigilators and CCTVs. Hence candidates caught cheating or peeping into fellow candidates’ screens will be disqualified. Also, you will be barred from taking further examinations.
Follow the Instructions Carefully Candidates must follow all the instructions provided by the invigilators on the exam day. Disobeying Invigilators may have consequences. Further, read all the instructions regarding MAH CET Exam Pattern and marking scheme displayed on the screen before the commencement of the exam.
Avoid carrying Prohibited Items

Certain items are prohibited inside MAH CET exam center and candidates should avoid carrying such items with them:

  • Calculators
  • Mobile Phones
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Camera
  • Watches
  • Stationery
Do not press any key on the keyboard once the exam starts The system will be locked if the candidate presses any key on the system. The candidate will lose valuable time to restore the test and will get less than 2 hours 30 minutes to attempt MAH CET 2023 exam.
Using Rough Sheets Candidates will be provided with A4-size white sheets for rough work. You can do your rough work only on these sheets and these have to be returned after MAH CET exam is over.

Identity Verification at Test Centers

Identity Verification on MAH CET 2023 Exam Day

Candidates must carefully check that they carry admit cards and required ID Proof. If any of the documents are missing, the candidate will be barred from appearing for the exam. 

The candidate’s identity will be verified with the details provided on the hall ticket. Acceptable Photo IDs are:

  • PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter’s ID Card
  • Bank Passbook with photograph
  • Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with a photograph.
  • Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with a photograph.
  • Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University
  • Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/  Bar Council Identity Card
  • The female candidates who produce an original marriage certificate/ original gazetted notification or affidavit as proof of their name will be allowed to give MAH CET 2023.
Note: E-Aadhar Card and Ration card are not considered as proof of identity verification. In the case of a mismatch of any information in either ID or admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the exam. The candidate will not be allowed to sit in the exam in case of doubtful identity proof also.

MAH CET 2023 Covid-19 Guidelines

All candidates will be required to follow certain precautionary measures at the exam centers on MAH CET exam day due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. These guidelines are mandatory for everyone’s safety:

Wear a mask Every candidate needs to wear a mask. You will not be allowed to remove the mask at any point other than during the process of identity verification.
Carry Hand Sanitizer It is recommended to carry a 50 ml bottle of hand sanitizer for frequent sanitization and to ensure maximum safety
Follow Social Distancing Social distancing norms laid down by the government must be adhered to.
Bring Water Bottle Candidates are advised to carry their own water bottle to quench their thirst during MAH CET 2023 exam.

MAH CET Exam Guidelines for PwD

MAH CET 2023 Exam Guidelines for PwD Candidates

Candidates applying under the PwD category will not be provided with any facility of a scribe by the conducting authority. All the visually impaired and candidates with adversely affected writing speed permanently can bring self-paid scribes to the exam center with them.

Rules applicable for the use of Scribe by PwD candidates

  • Candidate appearing in the exam cannot appear as a scribe for any other candidate. The scribe of one candidate cannot be a scribe for other candidates.
  • A candidate who is eligible and wishes to avail of the benefit has to notify the same in the online application form. Any subsequent request will not be addressed.
  • Scribes can be of any academic background.
  • Both candidate and scribe have to give an undertaking stating that the scribe fulfills the MAH CET 2023 Eligibility criteria laid by the exam conducting authority. The candidature of the applicant is at risk if any one of them is found ineligible for the exam.
  • Candidates using scribe will get an extra time of 20 minutes per hour.
  • Candidates who have registered in advance can only avail of this facility as compensatory time will be system-based and it can’t be allotted to candidates who don’t notify about the same in MAH CET 2023 Application Form.

Guidelines for Candidates with Locomotors Disability and Cerebral Palsy

A candidate whose writing hand is permanently affected (minimum 40% impairment), thus affecting the performance of the candidate, will be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes per hour or otherwise advised.

Guidelines for Visually Impaired Candidates

  • The candidates who suffer from not less than 40% disability may opt to view the content of the online test in enlarged font and these candidates will be entitled to extra time of 20 minutes per hour
  • If visually impaired candidates avail the facility of a scribe, they will not get the option of viewing the questions in an enlarged font. However,  such candidates will get any extra time of 20 minutes per hour or as advised by the authority.
