GMAT score is calculated in a range of 200 to 800. The average GMAT score obtained is 564.84 out of 800. Each section of GMAT has different ranges:

Is 550 GMAT easy to score?
GMAT is indeed a difficult exam and without preparation, it is next to impossible to obtain a good GMAT score. In terms of difficulty level, 550 is not at all easy to score because the questions of GMAT are very tricky. However, 550 or any score under 550 is a low GMAT score and to get admission in good B-schools or universities, a good GMAT score of 650 will be the minimum requirement. If you are aiming for a good GMAT score percentile of 90th then you need to score 40 or higher in verbal and above 50 in quantitative. Verbal and Quant scores don't sync with the percentiles, therefore test-takers are required to carefully check.

GMAT Score Report 2023
