Though it’s just a decade old both the campuses – Hyderabad and Mohali are ruling in terms of placement and course curriculum and are totally in congruence with IIMs. And today, we will be answering the question to ‘How tough is getting into ISB?’ by detailing about the PGP course along with the average GMAT cut off scored over the years.
What is so famous about the ISB PGP course?

ISB Mohali witnessed its first graduation in 2016, hence no trace of the GMAT cut off. From the above table we can note a few points:
- The ISB minimum score in so many years has been 590 which was scored by someone who was apparently an outlier who got into ISB Mohali. Except for that one score, the lowest has been 600 for quite some time.
- The range of GMAT score required for ISB states that there is hardly any difference in the last few years and that also states that there is no difference in standards between the two.
- Coming to the highest GMAT score required for ISB, it was 780 and recently the highest has not been more than 770.
How tough is getting into ISB?

- The highest number of applicants (58) and the interview invitees (52) were noticed being registered at an ISB GMAT cut off of 710;
- Candidates with an ISB GMAT score of 740 or above were noticed receiving the interview invites as well as the majority received admission letter;
- The 740 ISB GMAT score noticed the biggest admit rate of 82% where 9 out of 11 were delivered the admission letter;
- Next, the range of 690-740 ISB GMAT score range was seen getting a large number of interview invites;

Is 680 a good GMAT score for ISB?

Scoring more than 700 in GMAT will elevate the chances of securing admission in ISB. Percentage of students getting admitted with a lower than 740 score is pretty low.
Is applying with a 650 score possible?
There is a very thin possibility to the above but if the candidate possesses exclusionary talent then they might grab a chance.
Exhibiting their past internships, training, and experience might fetch a chance. But if that also fails, the only way out is to work really hard and retake the GMAT exam for a better score.
